If you have been following my reviews for a while, you will know that I have quite the beef with the McDonald's near my home. I was in the area going to cardboard Shuffle and I wanted to get some food. This McDonald's wasn't that far so I decided to stop in to see if it was better or worse than the McDonald's by my home. As soon as I walked in I noticed there were a few things different that made things a bit more inconvenient. First off there was no soda machine so I can get my own drink. No condiments no napkins no nothing. Me and my husband had quite the big order. Now me having allergies I was in desperate need of napkins or something which I couldn't get until our order came. I had to use the toilet paper in the bathroom to blow my nose. When we made our order the associate at the counter said that they would bring the food to us and just have a seat. They didn't. They called her number and we had to get up to get the food. My husband got a Oreo McFlurry with caramel in it and they must have been out of good cups or something because what we were handed was slightly leaking from the bottom not enough to be an issue but not a good look. We were only provided one straw to work with for my drink which was a large Diet Coke and my husband's Oreo mcflurry. Which by the way if you want a drink you have to tell them what you want to drink for them to hand you the drink. During the course of our meal I had to ask for a straw a spoon and more napkins. Which means I had to wait at the counter for some associate to look over to assist me. They were pretty busy when we came in which is a good look for the business. There was at least four or five cars in the Drive-Thru signifying this must be a good business. Now let's talk about the food quality. The difference between this McDonald's and the one near my home is as different as night and day. My double cheeseburger with only ketchup and diced onions was absolutely perfect. Not to mention the fry quality was equally as good. Unlike the McDonald's by my home this food was all made fresh. And it shows in how tasty the food is. It's amazing how good the food can be when it's actually made fresh unlike some establishments. However the chicken nuggets that I got did not taste fresh. They tasted rather Bland like they had been sitting out for a while. But as far as the quality of the food goes that's the only thing I really have to nitpick about. As far as the associates go they were all rather friendly and they had a smile on their face. Not something that you see a lot of these days. All in all I've got to say the food quality is definitely there but a few minor things kept it from being a five-star review. I'm giving this one four stars...
Read moreI finally went back to what I consider my mcdonalds. They had torn down rebuilt from the ground up. I was so disappointed. They looked great. But the service was lacking I sat at the pay for it window FOR 10 mins I had given my order to a young man who said "come on around" got around not a soul was in sight. Finally a gentleman came to the window looking confused. Asked me what my order was. Told him 2 big macs. A large fry and 2 apple pies. He told me I cld have 2 blueberry pies or wait 19 mins for apple. Told him I wld pass on the pies. I got there at 10:05. Check out 10:23. Dang cld of had those apple pies anyway! But the thing that bothered me the most was the behavior of a young lady at the pick up window. I dont know where she shld of been but the young man at the window was at the window. But apparently he had somethg on his face she thgt she needed to touch he was trying to get away from her. But really. I'm turning into an old lady but when I was at work if I didnt have anythg to do. I found somethg to do. She did not get the hint the young man did not want his face touched. But I'll tell her. That was just pure rude to him and to me. I didnt want to watch. So mc ds. Give those kids somethg to do. Talking is one thing. But hello. Touching is another. The thing that had me lost. When I finally got my food it was another gentleman entirely. It was an older man, he apologized for the mix up and the wait. I was so confused by then I had meant to tell them I sat her long enough to get 2 apple pies. But after that show. I really no longer wanted them. I was so disappointed I'd waited a cpl months plus for the new store. The old one cld no longer make milk shakes. Last 2 I got was like cold vanilla milk w whipped cream. Ronnie who promised me 2 more hopefully hes still there. He had alot of pride in his job. Think I'll go back to the...
