Recent: We went for a. birthday lunch with reservations, which weren't needed. We were seated promptly, served promptly and received our food appropriately. Waitress was very professional and well trained for her work. We like coming here for all the reasons above, but also because the restaurant has some dignity about it. The patrons were generally well dressed, no underwear hanging out. no nose piercings that looks like they're about to drip, or other inappropriate behaviors. The noise level was high because were lots of people in conversation, but you could hear well, unlike some of the blaring music places. I'm convinced the kitchen staff turns the music up to get pumped for the day's work and forget to turn it down in many restaurants, but not here. Nice background music at an appropriate volume. Food was superb as usual! My wife had an excellent birthday. Her only complaint was that after we had eaten enough to last two days, the waitress delivered a dessert with ice cream, which we simply couldn't eat. It would have been better to let us know ahead of time or be given a to go option. We dine here every time we have the opportunity. Great place for great food and service.
After a previous mediocre visit we decided to give the restaurant another try. We’re so glad we did. Food and service were both excellent. Wife got turkey, I got prime rib, both well prepared and super tasty. Salads were fresh, potatoes were great. No room for dessert. Waiter (Charles) was very well trained, appropriate and efficient. There when anything was needed, not intrusive at all. Couldn’t have been a better meal. A little pricey but worth it for special experience. This is dining like it was when elegance was still in style. Thank you all. Another visit for lunch was excellent in every aspect. Appetizer, salad, and main courses(salmon, prime rib) were all just great! Visit for Valentine's Day was super! Turkey and dressing great, the waiter Chad...
Read moreI visited this location on 5/10/25 with a friend's family for Mother's day. Our server came out after we'd been there a pretty long while waiting on our appetizer. He stated that it looked like the kitchen had never made our appetizer, he claimed that the ticket was still hanging there, and that it was being made now and that they would comp that. Just a few minutes after getting our appetizer, our salads came out. My friend commented that she just knew our food was right behind it and sure enough, within minutes, it was. My friend told the server who brought us our food that there was no way we could take the food right now as we had just got our appetizer and our salads. The manager did come out and tell us that he was going to remake all of our food so that we could enjoy what had just been brought out. When we got our meals the food was good and made fresh. My friend paid with a Visa gift card that had a $200 beginning balance, it should have left $34 and change on the card after our meal (she zeroed out the tip line) and we left a $30 cash tip on the table. After that we left the restaurant, went over to Academy Sports because her son was going to spend the remaining balance of the gift card. Well, the balance when he went to check out was only $3 and change. She contacted the restaurant the next day before noon, and was told that the manager was not yet in but that they would let them know about the situation and have them call her back. Well it's been a week, and nobody has ever contacted her back about the money. She checked the gift card balance a few days later and the $30 was back on the card. I don't know what is more shocking, that somebody would intentionally write in a tip or that management hasn't ever contacted her back. I can firmly say that I will not visit this location again. I think that if it had been an accident that management would have reached back out to her. This is why I always write CASH on the tip line when...
Read moreI will start off by saying we had reservations at 7:30 at 7:15 I walked in the door let the host know we were there and she said she would send me a text message when our table was ready that it was still occupied. So we sat in the car until 745 And didn’t receive a text message, so we just decided to go inside and stand until they sent us a text. I woke up to the host stand. I told her that we were inside. She didn’t need to send a text and she asked me my name. I told her and she was like oh your table is been ready. Well, thank you for the text message because I told you we were in the car! For appetizer, we ordered the deviled eggs and just tasted like they had to make some taco seasoning in it and threw a piece of bacon on top of it. For my entrée, I ordered the 9 ounce with cream cheese butter on top, the chop salad and a load of baked potato. On my salad I asked for ranch dressing I get my salad there’s no dressing. By the time those server comes back to our table and I asked him for dressing. Our food is coming out. So needless to say, I didn’t get to enjoy or eat all of my salad, because my food was sitting in front of me. I’ve never been to a Steakhouse that I’ve actually had to use a steak knife to cut into a filet mignon Also, I’ve never been to a steakhouse that charges $40 for a 9 ounce filet mignon and it’s dry. The meat wasn’t even tender. This was my first time coming to the chophouse, and I drove from Charlotte North Carolina. This will be my very last time. I spent $168 and it was a disaster from start to finish. I did not ask to speak to a manager because there was a group of people and I didn’t want to embarrass anyone so I asked for it to go box for my food. I paid my check and I left to never return.. I could give This is establishment negative I would! Texas Roadhouse...
