I went to McDonald’s #2577, this morning 9/22/25, the one located at 110 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28501. I ordered a McGriddle sausage and egg no cheese and a small coffee, 2 creams, 2 Splendas on the side at approximately 8:52 am. When I received the coffee cream was already in it: the young lad said we don’t have cream so I thought the Splenda was included too. She really didn’t take the time to explain and gave a cup of black coffee and I stated I can’t drink it like that. When I got the coffee back she out so much cream in it the coffee looked like milk. I checked the bag and it was sugar instead of Splenda. They slammed the door closed and I had to tell her I needed Splenda so I assume this lady was the assistant manager was rude with an attitude. Now I know why o don’t usually go to this McDonald’s and my friends state they go to the once across from Walmart which is where I normally go. This McDonald’s need to train the workers and managers with customer service skills. I will never go there again nor recommend my family that comes out of town to go there. Poor customer service. I told the lady who I assumed was the manager I was not trying to give her a hard time but trying to understand what she was stating. Also I had a business before, why would you let creamers run out and the customer is not made aware until their coffee is received with cream already in it. Yet the manager and worker immediately got an attitude and closed the window while I was still talking; very rude and...
Read moreWhen I think of McDonald's I usually think of the fries. Hot, crisp, slightly salty and just plain good. The Quarter Pounder is my second thought and is usually, well, not bad. Not having been to McDonalds in quite a while, we decided to grab a quick lunch while passing through Kinston. We arrived just after 1:00 PM and ordered two quarter pounders with cheese, two small fries and two drinks. Not realizing prices had increased I was surprised to pay $14.49. The sandwiches were a bit dry possibly from the over cooked beef patties or maybe they had been sitting a while and they were not the acceptable serving temperature. Large chunks of raw onion as opposed to the small diced I'm used to were in abundance. I don't believe the fries were ever crisp and they were definitely not hot and not seasoned properly. The sweet tea was acceptable. So that's what you get in a McDonalds for just south of $15.00 It's interesting to note that according to the receipt if you rate them highly satisfied you'll receive some free food. That may tell you that the rating they reference may be inflated just a bit. I'm sticking with my rating here on Google Maps. McDonald's can keep...
Read moreWe go to the one on MLK Blvd and it is usually very good. However about 1 1/2 to 2 months ago we went and it was the worse experience we have ever had at any fast food place. It took us over 20 min. to get 2 burgers, 2 small fries and 2 drinks. There were people who were so upset that they left without getting their food or their money back. Some had waited for 40 minutes to get their food and others left after 40 min. without getting their food. People were told it was because they have to serve the Drive Thru first so I guess we who go inside "ARE JUST NOT AS IMPORTANT". I even called McDonalds headquarters and complained. The young man who took my information was surprised and seemed concerned. He took all my info plus told me that he thought corporate would want to get in touch with me about this problem. Guess McDonalds really did not care one little bit about their customer's because to this date I still have not heard one thing from them. I have only returned a couple times since then. It just has made me not to interested in going back since they were not interested enough...
