Overall, the food was alright but I don't think we will be going back. From the atmosphere and pricing, we were expecting a slightly upscale brunch spot, however, the table setups and food are much more of a casual diner cafe. While I absolutely love a good diner breakfast experience, there are other spots I enjoy more for that. We were seated very quickly, and the staff were efficient and friendly! We were very well taken care of by all the wait staff, and the service was excellent. The latte I ordered was huge, and very good. The space is very pleasantly decorated with an upscale but clean and contemporary vibe. Unfortunately, despite only being half full, the space was extremely loud; there is no acoustic baffling to help with the noise and having a conversation with the person sitting across from me was difficult. The front doors do not have auto-closers on them, so they stay open as people walk through. As a result, there is a frequent, strong smell of industrial cleaning chemicals coming from the bathrooms down the hall that is very unpleasant, even though we were seated in the middle of the dining area. The food was alright. My partner and I both ordered dishes with hash browns; his were cooked well to a golden brown with a soft inside, and mine were burnt on the outside and chewy to the point of being rubbery on the inside. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict was extremely heavy on the butter to the point that it was solidifying into a buttery mass as it cooled, and was very bland. This left us with the impression that the hash browns and hollandaise sauce had been frozen, and not reheated very well. I hope that some of these are growing pains of a new restaurant, and I look forward to returning in a few months to see if some of these issues have been improved!

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, Mia Wine Bar is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is inviting, and the menu is full of surprises that keep things exciting. It tastes like most items are made from scratch and they use Macrina bread! Let’s start with the drinks—Mia’s passion fruit mimosa is a refreshing twist on the classic, offering a tropical burst of flavor. I saw something called "Chicken Doughnuts" and knew that I needed to try them. The combination of crispy, golden-battered chicken with a playful doughnut twist is nothing short of genius. Paired with a vibrant, fresh salad featuring fresh shredded lettuce, juicy strawberries, oranges, and parmesan, all dressed in a tangy strawberry vinaigrette, it was a symphony of flavors and textures. The balance was impeccable. Since I was full from my entrée used as an appetizer, I opted for the kids menu. What? More fried chicken? Yep. The chicken strips were a hit—battered in-house with just the right amount of seasoning and perfectly crispy. The ranch dipping sauce was creamy and had a nice, tangy kick that paired beautifully with the strips. My friend went with a modified white omelet and devoured the whole dish in no time. The flavors were spot on, and it’s clear that the kitchen knows how to do brunch right. Overall, Mia Wine Bar is a gem. The food is unique, flavorful, and presented with care. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on a visit. They have live music on the weekends!

My dad and I went out for brunch for the first time at Mia Cafe and we loved it so much we came back a few days later! All the food we had was so delicious. My salmon eggs benedict was perfect, as were the shredded hash browns. My dad had the Cuban sandwich (which was toasted panini-style, a welcome surprise) and said the tomato soup (soup of the day) was the best tomato soup he's ever had, which is impressive because he has had a lot before. The next time we went he got the same sandwich again (because it was so good), and I ordered it as well and agree. The soup of the day this time was mushroom and we both agreed it was the best mushroom soup we've ever had, due partly to the fresh herbs in it. The staff was very kind and welcoming and didn't even bat an eyelash when my dad asked if we could split a strawberry milkshake. They made them in two small glasses, each with their own whipped cream and fresh strawberry slice on top. So cute and delicious. We also enjoyed the new decor and soft music. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal and comfortable place to visit with friends/family.
