Sarducci's Specialty Subs — Restaurant in Kirkland

Bad service, deceptive pricing, and low quality ingredients. Good if you need a bunch of subs for a work group or cheap delivery. Supremely disappointed. They are clearly super specialized in delivery, so much so I don't even get why they have a front. The guy running the front doesn't even greet you, just points at the tablets to order. Then the ordering is really confusing. I ordered a club and it asked how much extra bacon I wanted. I said none because I just wanted the normal amount of bacon that comes with a club and not pay for extra portions. I place my order and then the sandwich is finished just way too fast, like not even a minute after I hit the button. I take it and head out and eat on the road back to my job and discover there is no bacon whatsoever. A club sandwich has bacon as a baseline part of it, not as an addition, even subway knows this. Subway, step aside.......Sarduccis just steam rolled you and most any other sandwich joint I've ever been to.

My husband introduced me to this gem in Kirkland very early on in my days here and I was blown away by this place and continue to be every time we go.

I have figured out the two reasons this place is as phenomenal as it is:

1. The bread is the best I have ever had. It is SO fresh, so lovely and so tasty
2. As simple as it sounds, their method to spreading the mayonnaise/mustard or sauces evenly on the bread with a spatula as opposed to spraying it out of a bottle makes a huge difference.

I have legitimately never been disappointed about anything in this place and I have tried a few different ones. I will probably never be able to eat Subway again without feeling like I'm cheating on this awesome little place.

The ONLY thing I would change is adding more vegetables to their selection. I am the person that goes in and says "I want everything" and even then they still...

Well, I am so sad to share this review. I have gone to this local neighborhood restaurant for 15 years. After moving away 3 years ago, I was so excited to come back to visit. I was blown away that the whole place has changed. From quality,proportions and hospitality. Your order is now kiosk,the counter is blocked so you can't order it the way you want. There is literally no communication from door to door. You get half the meat and fixings of the original owner. And on top of that, I walked into an empty store,no other customers and my 2 sandwiches took 20 minutes. Forget about the inflation of prices because we can't control that. When I ordered extra meatballs and got less than the "original" used to come with, this $19 sandwich(yes 1) $39 for 2.. Is just not even worth reviewing.
