Acoustics are good, as long as AIR CONDITIONING not on. They have to look into quieting the stage area where most of the noise came from. We humans, those not acute to hearing those sounds, can listen and enjoy, but don't think you can record here and enjoy PIN DROPPING SOUND recordings. But the recent husband and wife violin & piano duo, had an excellant performance none the less. Advertising for this event was low, email by itself isn't much to notify the public where print notices in the entertainment section on Friday Seattle Times, and on at least two Public Radio stations and a Privately Funded one, KING FM, a highly sucessful classics station known world wide, would have been 100 times better...so attendance of under 30 was pitiful for a great duo performance like this. This is NOT a serious performance center especially if recording live radio recreation performances occur here!. They need to re-think their programs if they WONT fix these two MAJOR PROBLEMS. I'm a jack of some trades but not master of all. You need to hirer an acoustic engineer with noise reduction certs and a proper public relations outfit to make and establish a program for advertising to FOLLOW for different kinds of programs. Not all performances are the same or the same needs. Worth the money to invest in at least these two that I'm aware of. What I'm partlly aware of in a sense not addressed before, is funding and distribution of those to cover the venue and its operation. If paid for by City of Kirkland like The Showare in Kent, or new Federal Way performce center, then we better figure something else. The Kent Schools are using their major High School Performace centers, and they wirk well. EDMONDS is an older Center converted from a high school. Someone there did the same, and Bothell has a center that is successful too. Too many venues weakend the economy and cash to support ALL those venues. One day, that's going to cause major problems as costs continue to rise, and performance venues and performers prices price them out of a job or a location looking for proper return to keep...

Very, very, bad ballet for an inflated price. Seats uncomfortable, sets are CHEAP, and the ballet goes on and on forever.
Costumes are honestly a joke and every single one of the performers was off beat. I mean out of all the jumps, kicks, and lifts that there were you would think atleast ONE would be on time and in line with others but NO!! At that point that is a statistical anomaly.
Point is, do not watch this show, 60 dollars PER ticket for some half show that’s shabby at best and a scam at worst. Waste of a night and $200
WARNING!! Many children present (And for the parents who can’t keep track of their children letting them kick seats, talk loudly during the show, and clap at odd times, teach your kid some goddamn manners. It may not be a good show but it’s a show...
Read moreI’m giving this place one star because of the parking situation. I actually missed the performance I was planning to attend because the tiny lot next to the theater was full, the nearby library was full, street parking around the area was full. I’m sure insiders have their tricks, but for someone new to this venue who allowed plenty of time (20 minutes) to arrive and find parking and check in, I’d never attend something here again. I circled the area for 30 minutes and then went home out of frustration. Anyone attending a show here should allow at least 40 minutes and ultimately probably plan to pay...
