Subway — Restaurant in Kirkwood

I am not usually the one to complain, I understand that businesses get busy and quality and times can slip, but today was a disappointment to say the least. I placed a mobile order and arrived to the store a few minutes before it said I’d be ready ( it said I’d be 30 minutes before it would be ready when I ordered) . I walked in and waited in line behind two people which took about 10 minutes my app then said the order was ready. I proceeded to see the employee give free items to the two people in front of me. When I came to the front of the line I told her I had a mobile order and she said I’d need to sit down and wait as she hasn’t started it yet. I ended up getting my food 20 minutes after the app said it was ready and a whole hour after an originally ordered it, I was not even given a sorry...

I absolutely love this Subway in Kirkwood. I’ll go out of my way just to stop here because the experience is always that good. The owners are incredibly friendly and genuinely welcoming—it feels like catching up with old friends every time I walk in. They always remember me and even follow up on things we’ve chatted about in the past, which makes it feel personal and warm.

I usually get the Spicy Italian and they make it perfectly every single time. The ingredients are always fresh and crisp, and I’ve never had a bad sandwich here. It’s that consistency and the great people that keep me coming back.

Ordered two footling sandwiches for my husband and I. A steak and cheese and a cold cut combo. No drinks, chips, or cookies. No extras at all. The total for two sandwiches was $30. The woman asked if I’d like two free cookies, which I accepted. I stupidly declined a receipt. when I got home, I plugged in my EXACT order online for pickup at the same location, and it came out to $22. I called and was told that the prices online are cheaper than in store. Excuse me, what? My husband went back up there to have a new receipt printed with our card number, and they overcharged us on extras for our sandwiches AND for the “free” cookies. These people are scammers. We will...
