Bar 1521 — Restaurant in Kissimmee

After a miserable day of flights getting cancelled at the end of our trip (Honeymoon) in April and scrambling for a place to stay, we ended up at the Wyndham Grand.

We were tired, miserable and hungry.

We went to Bar 1521 in the hotel and weren't expecting much.

The service was great. The food was really good too.

I had fish tacos and my wife had the burger and fries. We both had a couple of drinks. They do have some interesting beer choices, which surprised me.

We were done and ready to pay and go up to our room when our server asked us if we were ready for dessert. We said we were good. He then asked, "What if you don't have to pay for it?" He knew it was our honeymoon and we had had a miserable day.

We got the Warm Walnut Apple Bar: Bourbon, Caramel, Cinnamon Ice Cream

It was soooo good. We ended up ordering another one the next day via room service.

Let me start by saying I had hi hopes. Wine by the glass awesome! Bartender was average. Ordered a ribeye it was over cooked. That being said it was still good! Would have loved to tasted it how I ordered it. Then ordered desert and never got it😔 I know this is a tourist hotel but when I pay 100 dollars for dinner by my self I really feel like it should have been better.
