On Monday around 8: I had one of the worst bar experiences a potential bar customer could have . Sat down at the bar and waited for the male young bartender to finish chatting and showing something from his phone to another bar guest . He came over and asked what I wanted without a menu in front of me . Do I asked for a beer menu as thatâs what I planned on having along with dinner . He stated that the beer list was on the menu and then left to go socialize some more . I looked over the beer list but noticed there were no locals on the menu and that there were many more handles at the bar than beers on the menu . I will add that Iâm a fan of any local beer and rarely have the same beer twice unless Iâve had the beer and itâs the best option . He came back and I asked about one of the beers I could see from my seat brewed by Florida Ave . He said it was a red beer , which I actually enjoy alot . I asked why that beer was not on the menu . He said â that would cost alotâ now ⊠I had just been driving on the highways in rain for over 4 hours from Ft Lauderdale and I was ready for a beer or 2 and some food but when he started with the attitude after me seeing and hearing him chit chatting about sunglasses I was ready to argue . Iâve been to many restaurants , bars and breweries and the have an accurate beer list and if he had tried or cared as I specifically asked for a beer menu he could have even told me about the other selections . I asked how was anyone was supposed to know about the local or seasonal beers if they werenât told ? He said he didnât have to serve me if I was going to have an attitude and could go to the outside bar or leave and then walked away and starting telling other bar guests about our conversation. So for about 3 minutes I sit there thinking and wait for him to possibly come back and say something but dosent . So I leave as there is no way I want to be served by this lazy bartender who would rather share stories than serve bar guests . Millers needs to rethink their place in the market as the only thing they have going for them is being open late from what I can see . Or offering local beers unless asked by restaurant guests is beyond lazy and disrespectful to to all the breweries that have kegs in your establishments. There are so many places that know how to keep menus updated . So why canât you ? And why canât you hire better staff ? How much would it cost for that bartender to tell me what the beers are that were not in the menu as he should be aware of all bar offerings ? We got there right before it got crowded last night due to the graduation next-door at the arena. The waitress Was pleasant we ordered calamari when it was brought out, it had sauce on it, which we asked not to have it on there when they brought it back instead of making fresh all they did was take the dish, wipe it out and put it back in because the dish on the bottom still had the red sauce on it so was unable to eat it . There was two families three on one two on the other two checks. We ordered sandwich and two of the chicken sandwiches. They were absolutely horrible. The worst Iâve ever eaten . The fries were so salty that you could barely eat them. we were not checked to see if everything was OK by the waitress a nice young man came over once never refilled drinks or anything did ask for a drink, but we were leaving and she did that for us. I will tell you this is the worst experience weâve ever had in your restaurant was not up to par . The food quality was terrible. The chicken sandwich was it so small it looked like it came from McDonaldâs and the mahi was awful. I donât know whatâs going on there, but itâs definitely not what it used to be. As far as there shouldâve never been put back in the same bowl and not properly cooked with a new batch.. My granddaughter and I had the past it was OK. I understand it was busy by the time we were eating, but no excuse for the food. we are locals and this will be our last time we are coming there. We usually eat at the one on I Drive when weâre out never have ever had a problem.. The The cake with the candle was put on the wrong check, which was no big deal, but it shouldâve been corrected. Didnât realize it until we got into the car all in all this was the worst experience we have ever had at your restaurant.    Read moreGreat food & service as always! BUT Unfortunately and not Miller's fault we were sitting behind a group of people who were obnoxious and rude. I actually came to leave a review about them and then I see they have the nerve to leave a negative review on Miller's when they were the ones in the wrong one!! Wow! We heard them try to order alcoholic drinks without identification. If I had to guess, the ones without IDs were underage. I couldn't believe how disrespectful they were to a server following company rules and Florida law requiring IDs for alcoholic beverages. Then, I saw one of the people that did have a valid ID order a drink and I saw her give it to the guy that didn't have a valid ID! My jaw dropped. Yes we were being nosy but only because the group was causing a scene and impossible to ignore. We eat here often as it's one of the best local spots by far. Hubby loves Miller's Mountain Melt. Mandy was our server and was pleasant, refilled our drinks before we had to ask for it and the food was hot & tasty. I felt so bad for her the way those customers treated her. And the lady that came over I think she was the manager did her best to try to resolve it but these people were unreasonable and out of control in my opinion. So don't believe a word in their bad review. It's lies! I don't even think they stayed for their food. They ruined our meals with their shouting. No clue on restaurant etiquette whatsoever.
