I recently had the pleasure of dining at Poblano's Authentic Mexican Restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida, and I couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment my husband and I walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the stage for a memorable meal.
The dƩcor exuded authentic Mexican charm, creating a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that truly made us feel like we were stepping into a piece of Mexico. The friendly staff was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal.
I ordered the chile poblanos stuffed with cheese, and I can confidently say it was one of the best Iāve ever had! The combination of flavors was exquisite, and the cheese was gooey and rich. My husband also enjoyed his selection, and we both found ourselves savoring every bite.
The beans and rice complemented our meals perfectly, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to authenticity and quality. Every dish was prepared with care, and the portions were generous, making it a fantastic value for the money.
Overall, our dining experience at Poblano's was nothing short of amazing. If you're looking for hearty, authentic Mexican cuisine in a welcoming setting, I highly recommend Poblano's. We left with full bellies and big smiles, already planning our next visit! Don't miss out on this gem...

When I arrived, I thought what a small restaurant with limited seating. Not a deal breaker. On the bright side, it might have really good, authentic, home style food... Which is what I was looking for. If you're looking for good space, this ain't the place. It's a hole in the wall.
The waiter we had was nice to us and attentive.
We ordered chicken flautas and a torta. The prices were $10 and $5, respectively. The food was decent. The tortilla that wrapped the flautas was too thick and crunchy. Also, the chicken was kinda dry so I asked for a melted cheese sauce... Queso. They charged $2 for a very small one or $8 for a large one.
The torta was pretty good. I would give it a solid 7 out of 10.
I asked for a drink and they didn't have refillable fountain drinks. They had cans or glass bottles of soda. I paid like $3 for a glass one only to find out it was only 12oz which is about the same as a can! My wife asked for water and they charged $1 for a bottle of water. I was turned off by the drinks policy the most. That easily took it down from 3 stars to 2.
It is authentic, but it's not extremely flavorful, however I only had 2 dishes (started between myself and my wife). Not my first choice of where I would go out to eat...

The place is very quaint and the staff is super friendly. Iām a sucker for tortilla chips, and the fact that the chips werenāt fresh was a huge miss. Moving on to drinks, I got the horchata which was very watery. The flavor was there, but you can tell it was watered down.
When I think of sopes, I think of a corn flour shell that is thicker than a tortilla with the rim around it. This was pretty much a tostada. I got a carnitas sope and it was good. The carnitas itself have a great burst of flavor, but I still wanted that classic sopes shell.
For dessert I indulged in churros. I immediately asked if they were fresh and she confirmed that it was and that they were āsuper ricosā! They actually were! I highly recommend the churros.
Overall, it is a cute āhole in the wallā restaurant with a lot of potential. I personally believe the prices are a little too high for the quality, but the service more than makes up for there shortcomings. I canāt say Iāll be back but I did leave with a full belly. Yes, it is authentic, but lots of room for improvement.
Thank...
