When A hotel manager ignores a guest who reports two of the four guests in the party became very sick due to hotel room conditions, and ignores a broken shower in one of the rooms, that would suggest a hotel manager who is a shyster scumbag slum lord who has absolutely no care, regard or respect for his guests. ||||BUYER BEWARE this hotel owner will not refund your money back for any reason and he will deny ANY thing is WRONG with his Property at the RISK and WELL BEING of hotel guests.||||I will start my review with a question for the readers. Have you ever stayed at a property that made 2 of your guests sick and one of the rooms did not have a functioning Shower? Well, I have "good" news for you! Come stay at the Seasons Florida resort and you will get to experience these wonderful amenities and experiences! What can I say i'm a reasonable respectful person and I dont like posting negative comments online. You have to push me very far. This manager ignored all communications from me for over a week. and I'm not going to chase someone down who clearly lacks any integrity.|||| We had two of the four people in our party get very sick due to mildew/mold exposure existing at this property. One of our rooms did not have a functioning shower. When I went to turn on the water in the room the shower head was busted. Shower handle was Locked in a broken position and pulled out from the proper position to be able to operate any water pressure. We had no water pressure at all and no running shower water. We booked two rooms for two nights. We only stayed one night. ||||I stayed at Seasons Florida resort hotel October 4th -October 6th 2024. We checked in friday afternoon. After a day out at Disney parks, We arrived back at our rooms saturday morning at 1:30 AM and found room 235 did not have a functional shower. Two guests had to go to bed without a shower because the shower head was found broken and not functional. This was upsetting and troubling to not be able to take a shower after a long hot day at the amusement parks. I can confirm the shower worked fine in the neighboring room 237. The shower head handle was locked up in room 235 and inoperable. ||||The next morning. I received a text from my friends staying in room 237 and they told me we needed to leave because they woke up with a severe reaction to what they believe was mildew/mold. I went to see them and found both of them to have very puffy eyes and body swelling and clear reaction to mold substances in the rooms. The room had a clear and noticable odor. Room Seemed unclean, dusty and bed sheets discolored. They both said they only react this way to mildew. Its one thing if one person reacted but BOTH guests reacting with the same symptoms indicates a clear issue in the room.||||I understand issues happen. I am a reasonable person. However when you stay at a property I expect the property to be a comfortable & safe stay. Not having a functional shower is unacceptable. Having two guests with severe reactions to mildew/mold is very concerning. |||| front desk person offered other rooms, but our guests could not stay at the hotel given the reactions to mildew/mold. We needed to leave for health reasons. Your front desk offered dehumidifiers, but a dehumidifier will not resolve mildew concerns. A professional coming in and removing mildew/mold solves that. ||||||Heres the best part when we presented these issues to the hotel. They ignored us, lied to the booking company we booked this trip through and said the rooms had no issue. Then they refused to return my phone calls /text messages and emails for one week. Theres a special place in the world for owners like this and its usually/eventually behind bars.||||What most guests should take away from this review. The hotel did not offer a refund when gross negligence by the hotel caused an unsafe environment for my party. Think about that. So if you are booking this hotel from out of state or overseas and your flight changes they would never refund that scenario either. Read other poor reviews on here and you will see repeatedly this hotel taking your money and running away with it. If they won't cover an unsafe environment, they would never adjust or cover flight changes, a sick family member or trip cancellation. ||||Also, another tell tale sign this hotel has bad business practices. Call the phone number listed and see if you actually ever get a person to answer...you won't. Nobody ever answers the phone as they do not want to deal with the many upset customers ||||We have universal studios Annual passes. We plan to spend 40 plus days in Orlando/ Kissimmee area. If this hotel did the right thing we would back here atleast 30 dates per year.||||I would never book a room directly https://seasonsfloridaresort.hotels-kissimmee.com/en/ If you book directly with them you have ZERO chance of recouping any money. In my case the Booking company showed more integrity than the hotel that showed gross negligence. Booking companies will likely reimburse you to distance themselves from awful unlawful operations like this one. ||||The owner might try to say you have to go through a booking company for a refund. He is only doing that to hide from the truth. He doesn't respect his guests enough to deal with them honestly and with integrity.||||I see other reviews on here suggest bed bugs are an issue here as well...that would not surprise me.||||DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. There are plenty of other good inexpensive options in disney/orlando.||||Stay SOMEWHERE ELSE. Sleep peacefully. Thank you...
Read moreMy husband & I took a weekend getaway two weekends ago for my birthday. We have stayed in many small modest hotels in the Kissimmee area for weekend trips over the past couple of years, that were all in the price range of $40-$50 per night. We decided to pay a little more for our trip at this hotel (about $75per night) because it was my birthday weekend & because this hotel seemed to promise quality service and rooms for the price & the reviews were good. This is my 1st review I've ever written for a Hotel because we were extremely disappointed overall with our experience here & I don't want others to be fooled.. For a hotel that is so much about online and social media ratings, I couldn't believe how poor the quality of the service was that we recieved as well as other issues. First, when we arrived there and walked inside, the very first thing you see is what obviously used to be a room to eat breakfast but it was full of boxes all over the place and was really worn down (I was praying that the "complementary" breakfast would not be served there- that was the 1st impression you get when you walk in. Then you go to the front desk where it was just 1 employee, a gentleman, who didn't smile, didn't talk and looked like he was bored out of his mind. It was static in there, you could hear crickets chirp. Even a little bit of background music would of helped. Bad 1st impressions. I haven't even gotten to the best part though- when we got to our room, everything looked fairly clean, I was content with it. But then when I walked over to the coffee machine table- there were a good amount of crumbs left on the table - again, how do you miss that when you look over the room beforeh you declare yourself finished with cleaning and when you have posters all over the hotel asking your customers to write a review online?! To bring it on home- the most frustrating part to me was that when my husband woke up the day after we checked in- he went downstairs to the "complimentary" breakfast area and he planned on bringing me "complimentary" breakfast in bed for my Birthday. He then told by someone who worked there that he was not allowed to bring the "complimentary" aka "free" breakfast back up to our room for me, even after he told the worker that he wanted to bring me "complimentary" breakfast in bed because it was my birthday. They still said no. So he then had to go to IHOP down the street and buy me breakfast to bring to me since they would not allow a hotel guest (me) to have her "complimentary" breakfast that is promised as a part of the hotel deal. Finally, when the room service cleaned our room on the day after check in, they did not even replenish the coffee that we had drank then day before that comes with the room stay, so we didn't even have coffee to drink the next day. It was a horrible service experience for many reasons and definitely does not deserve to charge anywhere over $50 per night like the other little modest hotels around that area. Major major disappointment for my birthday. For a hotel that is so much about reviews, the manager/owner either had not visited the hotel in awhile to see its run down and poor service offered or they just don't care. I'm sorry to...
Read moreRooms were very good for price, but customer service lacked on my stay with my family. Free breakfast was suppose to be included and it began at 7:30 am.. great we get to the breakfast location at 7:30 am with other families there and the facility is still closed... I go to the lobby and ask the employee if some one was coming she stated someone was on the way... about 10 mins pass by and still nobody...that does not even include the time it takes to already have the food out. My family and another family go and ask what’s going on everyone already frustrated I paid almost $200 for this stay and most people that obviously stay at a hotel come with a time frame. We ask the employee if there’s a manager we can speak to and the employee seemed to be new she was super rude stating “the manager doesn’t have to be here and the owner will be here later on. It’s not my fault the lady that opens the breakfast doors called out” ... her face and the way she kept on responding was just so unacceptable... we walked away and had breakfast elsewhere once we got back from the park we go and ask to speak the owner and her response is “he just left” and I asked if tomorrow was going to be the same situation because for that I would of paid $20 a night at a rinky dink for the lack of service and her response once again “breakfast was just opened when you left” and my response was yes of course there was a bunch of us at McDonald’s so that’s a lie. I asked for a resolution and her resolution was to give each guest a $2, TWO, DOS dollar refund LOL. What a joke. Never again. Someone please fire this employee I wish I knew her name but she has curly hair a nose ring and tattoos with...
