Let me tell you a little story about Waffle House. We arrived in Orlando on a Thursday evening and really wanted to get us some Waffle House. We found one not far from our hotel. We parked and walked in and the single person said “Our cook hasn’t shown up for his shift, we can’t serve you.” We will call this WH#1. We found a second WH, not far down the street. We didn’t even get half way out of the car and a guy poked his head out and said “We are in the middle of a shift change, we can’t serve you for 30 or more minutes.” We will call this WH#2. This was all around 9:30pm.
So we went somewhere else. A few days later we all wanted WH again. We stopped at WH#2 first. Only one person in the diner and we walked in and she says “Sorry, cook hadn’t arrived. Don’t know when we can serve you.” Ok, so on to WH#1. Walk in and some random dude says “We are closed” no explanation, no other excuses, just flat out sorry we aren’t open for business. All at 9:30 PM again. So we drive up the road a few miles and find another WH and they look open, they have like 5 workers, which all looks normal for Waffle House. We walk in and ask if they are open and voila’ we get ourselves the best waffles and has browns in the world.
So, if you are in the Kissimmee area DO NOT visit these two WH locations.

Read moreI decided to come to this WH location on 07/19/2018 with my mother and as we walked in, no one greeted us which took me by surprise because waffle house is known for their warm welcomes. Although there were tables and counter available to sit, my mother and I weren’t able to sit due too space not being cleaned. My mother and I waited for about 20min to be seated. After about 25min of still waiting, a white family of 4 walked in and were greeted and seated RIGHT AWAY. I personally watched the young lady that has been working at this location for almost or about 10yrs (lady with no teeth) look at my mother and I and then ask the family of 4 to have a seat at the booth she just cleaned after my mother and I waited for nearly 25 minutes to be seated. I kindly walked up to the counter and after shouting “excuse me” about 7 times to both the manager on duty and another employee who were trying to ignore me to tell them about what had just happened, they THEN decided to offer my mother and I a seat as if we weren’t already there for 25min. I am extremely disappointed on the service we received at this location. My mother and I headed to another WH location and were treated so kindly and our waiter was externally happy with the $25 tip with provided. Never will I ever go...
Read moreTHE WORST experience with a waffle house ever! We walked in barely greeted by what I can only call the most terrible excuse of server. Told us to sit anywhere took tenminutes to come see us. I had to call him over, mind you we were the only three people in the building. Came over asked if we knew what we wanted to eat. We said not yet and said okay and left. Had to call him back over to get out drink orders. Asked about one of the toppings for hash browns said he didn't know. Still hasn't brought or drinks. When he did he wasn't sure which drink was which for sure. We made our orders, and as he was recapping he mentioned putting chocolate on the chicken hash brown bowls. Had to correct him. He brought out the two chicken melt bowls, forgot a topping on one. The menu started sauteed onions, or onions were raw. The mushrooms in mine were ice cold, chicken in one bowl was barely cooked properly, and the chili was just splattered on which was not how it was ordered. The bacon was meant forgotten. The only thing that was done right was the waffles my sister in law ordered. We continuously had to call him over. And the bacon cave was later than the waffles. Will not be returning to...
