There is a dock out there and I haven’t been over there yet, but it looks like there are some tennis courts and a basketball court and some picnic area with tables and a kids play area. plenty of ample parking security at the gate and pretty well lit property, there are some beautiful garden areas and a beautiful water fountain that sits right in the middle of the property and one on the lake, don’t forget one of the best parts of the property is a 24 hour fully equipped modern gym,has everything from cardio to muscle building.overall it may not be luxurious but it’s worth five stars and definitely worth every...
Read moreI booked a house at this property listed on Booking.com under the title, "Beautiful town home 5 miles from Disney entrance" after reviewing all the small print and policies on pets as we have two large dogs who are in training to be service dogs. After booking, I saw a posted question about dogs by another person and decided to ask about the service dogs in training. While I waited for the person renting out this house/property to get back to me, I checked what the law is regarding "in training" status in Florida. The law clearly states that a service dog in training has the same rights as a full trained service dog. When I explained this to the woman and assured her that our dogs are registered service dogs and certified she told me that her HOA would fine her if she allowed more than one dog over 20lbs. Even after I copy and pasted the paragraph of the law that clearly started HOA rules, regardless of how strict they are cannot over rule the law, she still said she would not allow it and asked me to cancel my booking. I did not cancel as I was looking into contacting the HOA and others to find out whether it would be worth the hassle to challenger her/the HOA when all we were just looking for was a nice place to stay while on vacation with our niece and nephew for Christmas. Needless to say, today I got a notice that my booking has been cancelled. While I'm fine with that, the law is the law, and what if myself or someone else just showed up with service dog (s) that didn't fit her unposted dog policy and she refused to allow us to stay with them? There could be a huge issue; someone's vacation would be ruined, the police (if they were familiar with the law) could be called, but even if they were allowed to stay after all the hassle what kind of mood would that set? For those of you who don't know, an individual who has a service dog does not need to indicate that they are traveling with one when making a booking for a hotel, Airbnb, VRBO, or anything like that and they cannot be denied rental/booking based on a "dog policy" as they are not considered pets.||||For the record, we did not stay in this house and we did not loose any money, we just lost a place to stay with less than 10 weeks...
Read moreWe are a family of 5 (3 adults and 2 teens) and enjoyed nine nights at this resort in a 3 bedroom home in block 21. The unit had one bedroom with king bed and en-suite on the first floor and two bedrooms (1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds) with shared en-suite on the second floor - each room had a tv. Bedrooms and stairs were carpeted.|The lounge was a good size with a kitchen at one end. In the kitchen were a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and full oven as well as ample storage cupboards. (unfortunately there were no instructions on how to use the oven). All linens, towels and dishcloths were provided, but there was only minimal dishwasher and laundry tablets, toilet rolls and hand soap.|The house was very comfortable and clean and appeared in good condition (minor damage to the front of the fridge/freezer).|The grounds were well kept and the teens enjoyed the pool. |The resort has a lake on site which is home to 3 smallish alligators and numerous turtles.||The only fault we had was on arrival. The Tiki bar was advertised as being open until 10pm, but arriving at 8.50pm after a long haul flight, we could not get any food or drink.|The bar tender stated he had closed early because of no traffic - although people were sitting at a table with a drink and we think he could have served us a beer or soda.||We enjoyed our stay and would...
