Until June, this would have been 5 stars.
I have a serious allergy. This location has always been welcoming, gracious and accommodating, until recently.
Earlier this month (the 5th), I came in with three other people, including a friend that wasnât familiar with Which Wich, 35 min before close.
They already had all the chairs up on the tables, so there was nowhere to sit. 2 young guys were on the line, and when I mentioned my allergy and the one making the subs saw the note on the bag, he got visibly annoyed. We were told that they were out of pretty much everything (we saw them putting away bins of stuff off the line as we were coming in), and were told to change our subs. All of us did. They took half an hour to make 2 subs, announced that they were out of everything at 9:00, gave us the two subs and refunded the other two, except for the credit processing fees. After we got home, I opened my sub and realized that it was made incorrectly, and had visible cross contamination. So as the end result only one of us got dinner and we got charged money that wasnât refunded, just for ordering and using a card to pay. Nice.
Went back in for lunch today and the same guy is on the line, no other visible employees. I donât feel safe having him make it, given that he was upset about handling an allergy last time.
I would have loved to speak to a manager, but I really donât feel comfortable at this location anymore. Itâs a shame, because this has been our go-to for over a year and we tip...
Read moreI believe Colleen is the manager at the Knightdale, NC location, if not there is something wrong and she needs to be! I just wanted to say she is PHENOMENAL!!! If you haven't met her you need to! She is the definition of customer service and I want to make sure she is recognized for it. She goes well beyond her job to make sure me and my family are taken care of each time we visit. Providing M&Ms to my kids when we order, remembering my name, orders and car I drive for curbside orders among other things. She even writes me a hand written hello and wishes me a great day on the receipt! She is always smiling and cheerful and it amazes me how positive and upbeat she is. You can't help but smile and feel the love when she greets you. She really knows how to turn a frown upside down! With the current state of this country socially and politically, people can learn a lot from her in regards to keeping a positive outlook on life and paying it forward. I mean, WOW! I've never met anyone like her in my life. She is a HUGE asset to the company and our community. THANK YOU COLLEEN!!! Give this lady a raise or I'm taking her from Which Which to...
Read moreBrand new, super-clean and busy at lunchtime, this place is abundantly staffed with helpful sandwich makers. The menu options are quite configurable once you understand the process. I made the rookie mistake of ordering a preconfigured "Favorite" which comes in "one size" according to the menu. Be advised, that "one size" is a "snack" size and below average. The sandwich quality was slightly above average and the bread was fresh. Pro tip: Choose the "build it yourself" option, the large size, which costs 10% more but is twice the size of the "one size" and feed two people with it. I was unpleasantly surprised to find there was no "meal deal" pricing option for the drink and chips. I would think that a brand new place would have a promo going... Nope, instead, full premium pricing. So, a very average lunch for two could easily cost $25!!! What? Makes me want to rethink the whole price/value thing... Hmmm. I can buy a real lunch (or dinner) entree with a salad for less $ just across the street. No reason for me to return to overpay...
