March 30, 2024 We came back for supper tonight. Food and service was just as good as last time 😊

Aug 10, 2023

If it was possible I would give this place a 10 star.

This establishment just opened last Tuesday. We were greeted warmly at the door and given a table. The waitress was happy to talk to us about the menu and all because it was our first time there. I was excited to taste authentic Asian cuisine. I had some pretty damn good ones when I was in Canada but they were mostly commercialized.

I had the Chicken Terriaki with Hot and Sour soup. I never had it before and it was DELICIOUS! The soup was fresh with lots of vegetables, but don't expect the same veggies that we have. I'm talking about Oriental vegetables. And in fact everything was fresh. Even down to the tofu. Last time I had Tofu it was yucky. But these ones were sumptuous. And my first time eating algae was astounding. The chicken was well cooked. The Terriaki plate came with onions, zucchinis, brocolis and mushrooms. All fresh and well cooked (not too much and not too little. The sweet tea was as sweet as a Southern Belle. I think our Mommas and MawMaws would have been proud. There was so much that that we had to bring some home.

I will definitely be coming back here and I will highly recommend my friends to come here. The waitress was friendly and polite. The atmosphere was relaxed. The owner came to our table (in fact he goes to all the tables) and told me they do plan on expanding. I wouldn't mind if they came to east Knoxville and further east. We continued talking and then he moved in. We live in Blaine and it would be nice to have one in Jefferson City or...

So I’m not from Knoxville, I’m from Florida but have family up here that we visit every so often. Last time we visited, a few years ago, we went to an Asian restaurant at this location and got Pad Thai and drunken noodles and it was legitimately the best Thai food we’ve ever had. This trip, we knew we had to go back and experience it again. It was THAT good.

Well, I don’t know if that place closed and this place took its spot, or if it has new management or what, but it had gone from the best Asian food we had ever eaten to literally the worst. We got the same thing as last trip, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles. Both with chicken yet they both smelled like fish. The egg and chicken in the dishes were so saturated and wet they just dissolved in your mouth, not in a good way. And the worst, the pad that was COVERED in a tomato sauce. Tomato in Pad Thai isn’t uncommon, but it’s supposed to be subtle. No, the whole dish was RED. I couldn’t get the taste of tomato out of my mouth for hours! That’s one thing when you’re eating Italian, but THAI food!? And 2 meals, a water and a sweet tea cost us $38 out the door….

Please rethink your menu. Your service was good, but your food really needs...

i used to love this place. bringing my review from 5 stars to just 2 stars. this place used to have REASONABLY PRICED food, even just over a year ago. their prices have went up EXPONENTIALLY and the quality of the food has plummeted. the last time i ate there i ordered shrimp pho, which i sued to get at the callahan location all the time and it was delicious, but here at this location the broth was completely flavorless, the noodles were a brick because of how cold it was, the shrimp tasted like it was pulled out the freezer and plopped into the bowl. i told them i did not like the food and they absolutely did not care, i should've pressed for a refund or replacement. AND THE PRICES UGGGH im telling you everything has gone up by AT THE VERY VERY LEAST $2. $9.45 for 6 crab rangoon? $9.45 for philadelphia roll???? INSANE. i used to be able to get vietnamese spring roll, egg drop soup, sushi or a kids meal for less than $15. i will never eat here again unfortunately. i had noticed decline in quality for a while and the prices sealed it for me, im done. i used to always tell everyone about how much i loved this place and would eat here sometimes multiple...

They can’t even got rice right - we got takeout as a family of 4. We didn’t specify what kind of rice we wanted, so we were surprised to find they gave us 2 white and 2 brown rice. This would be just fine, except my mom said the brown rice looked like white rice with soy sauce added. Upon further inspection and taste, this was exactly the case. Someone either just mixed soy sauce into white rice or prepared the blandest fried rice in the world (I found a tiny piece of egg in it). The other two containers of white rice were fine. We were unhappy with the flavor of our meals as well. The General Tso chicken tasted like it had half sweet and sour sauce. The broccoli was stringy. The curries were not rich. The tofu was bitter. I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant.

I’ve eaten here about half a dozen times now and I think I’m done. The picture is of a kid’s chicken tenders. Would you pay $9 for this? Last night I went to pick up an order and was charged a $1.50 extra for each entree versus what was advertised. The cashier’s excuse was it was because I selected a protein. General Tso’s Chicken comes with chicken does it not? I haven’t talked about the taste. It was okay six months ago but has gotten progressively more greasy and bland. Honestly you’re better off going to an all you can eat buffet for an extra dollar or two. The food will be better depending on what you get and it’s all you can eat for a few dollars more. I let them fool me about six times, but I’m done now.
