If youâre craving a sweet drink and you havenât been to Kung Fu Tea in Knoxville, youâre seriously missing out! With over 50 customizable drinks on the menu, thereâs something for everyone. And if youâre not impressed, itâs probably because you havenât explored enough of their yummy options.
Every visit here has been a treat. The cashiers are always friendly, they get the orders right, and theyâre great at offering recommendations when youâre overwhelmed by choices (trust me, it happens). On this visit, I went with the honey pineapple tea, sweet and refreshing at first sip, with just the right hint of bitterness on the finish. It was so unique and enjoyable! My partner chose the oolong apple tea, and it delivered that perfect sweet-bitter balance he needed to power through a long drive ahead.
My friends tried the coffee, which they loved. The option to customize sweetness with sugar on the side was a nice touch, letting them tailor it to their taste.
Pricing is obviously dependent on drink size, our medium honey pineapple tea and apple oolong tea were roughly ~$6 each at the time.
Now for the real MVP of the menu: the Japanese Taiyaki! Iâll admit, I was hesitant to try it since Iâve had authentic taiyaki on the streets of Japan. But wow, they nailed it! The red bean filled fish shaped cake was hot, fresh, and so flavorful. Itâs a rare find in the U.S. to have taiyaki made fresh and not reheated from frozen. Kung Fu Tea is doing it right! If you visit, this is a must-try.
The dining area is cozy and inviting, perfect for hanging out with friends or just enjoying your drink in peace. Iâll definitely be back to explore even more of the menu. Whether youâre in the mood for tea, coffee, or a unique snack, this place...
Read moreThis summer, whenever I would be stressed before work or just wanted to get myself a little âpick-me-upâ, Kung Fu Tea is where I would find myself. They make one of my favorite taro milk teas in the city. Always consistently flavorful and the boba has the perfect consistency. Aside from the delicious drinks, the service is always exceptional. All of the staff are friendly, if even a little shy, they will still do their best to smile and be polite and make sure they have your order correct. Raymond, in particular, has made my summer visits to KFT so enjoyable. He is always full of energy and does service with a smile. Iâve noticed he makes everyone comfortable as soon as they enter the building and doesnât miss a beat when it comes to making sure everyone has been taken care of. There may be a time or two the store is packed and you might not have the time to experience the personable communication this business can offer you, but I can almost guarantee you will get a great drink and awesome service...
Read moreFirst time here but Ive been to many Boba spots before I got a bland drink with no flavor the cocoa cream wow And my wife the the winter melon milk green tea which she enjoyed it tasted like one she had at a different Boba shop
She wanted to try the KF milk tea since it was a top 10 drink but when she asked the cashier what it was exactly she said black tea but forgot to mention that it was earl gray which my wife loves earl gray my wife even said, "so it's just black tea nothing about that drink is special and the cashier lady agreed just black tea" that miscommunication from waitress made it seem like it was a plain original black tea. We got the overpriced "corn dog" which was okay its soft but my wife said it was bland without sauce, but I enjoyed the simple taste. Overall mixed review hit or miss sometimes when you...
