Dunkin' — Restaurant in Knoxville

I am honestly worried about the standards that this restaurant maintains. I have had my lap burned by hot coffee because the employees do not put the cap on correctly. I have found hair in my food multiple times. I have had food poisoning after eating here; the pain in my stomach was so severe that I was sick for days. I have considered going to the hospital for how severe the burn on my leg was and how sick the food made me. When the employee saw that I poured coffee on myself, she shrugged at me. Didn't even offer a napkin. I had to ask for napkins while my skin was burning and I didn't even get an apology.

The employees here show little to no capacity to do their jobs. I have gotten my order wrong here so many times that I travel 5 miles to another location in Hardin Valley to avoid dealing with them. They ask me to verify my order multiple times just to get it wrong. It is not hyperbole when I say they fail to get my order right 80% of the time. That is probably a lenient estimate. If they were kind in their incompetence, that would be one thing, but they are rude in almost every interaction.

What's further concerning is that Dunkin is investing money into a new location 3 blocks away from this one. If they keep the same staff, all I can foresee is a wasted investment. How that staff is managed and the quality of product produced there is unforgivable. I only go there because it is so convenient but I regret it every time I go there. It's unreasonable to have to drive 5 miles for breakfast because I want Dunkin and the staff here is that...

I'm normally a huge fan of Dunkin Donuts, but this location in particular is horrible. I work not even a 2 minute drive away from it, and I'm starting to actively avoid it whenever I decide I'd like a coffee. Whenever I go to this location my drinks are always wrong in one way or another. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt because I worked a drive thru for over 3 years, so I understand people make mistakes sometimes. But every single time I go there, it's wrong. More times than not I've gone through for the $2 latte promotion, and it tastes like they put in regular coffee, not espresso, today I went through and asked for a large caramel iced coffee with cream, I drive away, taste the coffee, and it tasted like they mixed blueberry and vanilla together instead of caramel. Things like that happen each time I go through, I've never had my drinks made right here. Sadly, I won't come back to this location. The convenience of the store is not worth it to me. This location is absolutely terrible. Truthfully doesn’t even deserve one star. The wait times are absurd. Even if you’re the only person in the drive through expect to wait at least 10 minutes for a drink. I have been a DD customer for many years now and have been going to this location specifically for a year or so. I visit 5+ times a week and in the past month I can count on one hand the amount of times they have gotten my order right even though I order the SAME drink EVERY SINGLE TIME. Most of the staff is completely rude, especially when you point out that they didn’t fulfill your order correctly. If you ask them to correct their mistake expect an attitude, dirty looks, and NO apology whatsoever. I have contacted both the general manager and district manager about the issues I’ve experienced and it has not gotten any better.
