Dunkin' — Restaurant in Knoxville

I will not be back to this location ever again or to any Dunkin’ Donuts for that matter, the past three times I’ve been to this location I have had no sweetener in my coffee even though when the order that I made on the Dunkin’ Donuts app says sweetener and how many to put in........, The first time It happened I was already at work and just thought that it was a mistake and didn’t think anything of it, the second time it happened I tasted my coffee before I left the drive-thru window, I informed the young lady Stephanie that there was no sweetener in my coffee she didn’t offer to put it in it she offered to give me some packets so I said OK thank you, And drove away the third time which happened on May 4 today at about 7:40 AM once again I ordered on the app just like I always do get to the drive-through window tasted my coffee once again no sweetener, once again there was Stephanie in the drive-thru window, I Informed her there was no sweetener In my drink, She say do you want me to give you some, I replied I would rather you put it in as I’m driving, she snatched the cup from my hand and gave me attitude, Another young lady approached the window and I told her I would rather have a refund after the attitude that I’d received, Miss Stephanie comes back to the window and informs me that since I paid with the app that they will not give me a refund I replied oh yes you will......., The manager came to the window and asked for my card very nicely and she put the $3.60 back on my card, I I understand people make mistakes I do on a daily basis but these repetitive mistakes are ridiculous I need to give me attitude on top of it like it was my fault, that’s not acceptable at all. This has happened at other locations in the Knoxville area and never once have I got an attitude from any of the employees. This has put a sour taste in my mouth for this company, After today Dunkin’ Donuts has lost a loyal customer, for me from now on I will be choosing Starbucks as I did before I started to stop at on my way in...

I have had issues with this location before and I try to go to other locations when I can, but this experience was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I placed my order using the app then I arrived at the location around 5 minutes later. I sat in the drive-thru for about 5 minutes after the speaker box. Finally got my order and the bag felt too heavy for what I ordered. I checked the bag and I had the wrong food. I pulled around and checked my app to make sure I hadn’t made a mistake ordering before going inside. My order on the app and on the sticker on the bag were correct. I had ordered 3 beyond sausage wraps with no cheese and one maple bacon wrap. They had given me 3 beyond sausage sandwiches with cheese and the bacon wrap. I took the food in to get it corrected and argued with one of the ladies (I’m assuming is the one that made the food) where she insisted that I placed the wrong order on the app and that she had made what was on the screen. I proceeded to show her my order on the app and she still insisted I was wrong. I told her if it was that big of a deal just to refund my money and I’ll be on my way bc I had already wasted too much time and had to leave. Finally after 10 minutes of waiting inside I got my food and another lady (manager?) apologized. I got to my car and I had the wraps but they had cheese on them 🤦🏻‍♀️ I just left. The other two ladies I dealt with inside were very friendly and helpful but the one that argued with me doesn’t need to be there All she had to do was fix the food. So I love me some peppermint! So I wanted to try the recent seasonal re-release of Dunkins classic Peppermint Cold Brew with Sweet Cold Foam... But I also wanted to try "my own" Peppermint Cold Brew. So I ordered the Pep Cold w/cold foam: First, the aroma of the Peppermint is pretty delicious. And Dunkins cold foam is a classic. But I feel like there could be more coffee blended with peppermint vs. Peppermint blended with a dash of coffee. The Peppermint Mocha syrup is VERY chocolatey almost like powdered cocoa that is just mixed with water. I would def opt in for a shot of espresso just to help even it out. But overall this drink receives a 3.5 out of 5 for me. Next--- my twist: I ordered an iced coffee with 5 pumps of peppermint and I also added 3 pumps of toasted white chocolate, I left off the Cold Foam. This was perfection to me! The white chocolate blended so well with the peppermint and it calmed down the overall straight mocha flavor just enough to thoroughly enjoy it!
