Disappointing customer service. I am a Jason's Deli Rewards member, and was shocked at the poor customer service at the Knoxville location.

At other locations, if the main ordering line has many guests, the "to go" register asks if anyone is ordering just a salad bar. This helps get customers through quicker, and I understand why this register doesn't take more complicated food orders. Salad bar only.

With a very slow moving line today, I approached the "to go" register and asked if I could order a salad bar and water there. The young lady seemed upset that I disturbed her (I had witnessed here goofing off and having a good time for the last 3 to 5 minutes, as no "to go" orders came through while I was in line), and said No you have to order in that line. I tried to politely tell here that other locations do as described above, and she quickly cut me off saying "you have to order over there".

Right after that, she returned to her very important goofing off. I told her to have a nice day and left the restaurant.

I won't visit the Knoxville location again, which is a shame because I enjoy their food while out of town. Sad that such a great restaurant chain has to hire such...

I was asked to order lunch for an office of about 25 people at 11 am for delivery ASAP. Panic is an understatement of what I went to through, I havent been with this company long and mostly everyone works from home more often than not. I finally decided sandwich couldn't go wrong and placed an order online at 11:15 choosing their earliest time but it wouldn't accept it, so I called.

While Courtney sounded a little overwhelmed when answering I was they had the order and it would be closer to 12:30 for delivery. I happily said that's fine and asked for 2 veggie sandwich to be included. Right at 12:30 there was a knock on the office door and in walked a true angel with everything I ordered! Every one had wonderful things to say about the food choice and really raved about the quality and layout. I wasn't sure I could pull this off at all without people complaining but I heard nothing of the sort, without the wonderful experts at Jason's deli I wouldn't have. You guys came through for me without even knowing how much I needed it...

This Jason's Deli is either under staffed or does not care about cleanliness. Walking up to the restaurant, the outside tables were full if trash. I thought maybe a large party just came through. When I entered the restaurant, most of the tables were covered in trays of food and trash and not many people. They said the salad bar was open but it is a one time pass through with a single plate which is not what I would think of as a salad bar. Trying to find a table was hard since most of the cleaned tables were marked off for COVID reasons. I cleaned off one of the dirty tables so my family and I could sit down. At least the food was still good and the gentleman at the register was nice which is the reason for the 3 stars. I'm a restaurant owner myself and would most likely fire this manager or retrain all employees. Hopefully this restaurant will uphold the franchise name and provide the atmosphere and food as expected...

We paid $30 for two sad looking sandwiches; one with a bag of chips and the other with a side of "steamed vegetables." The veggies looked old and disgusting - I couldn't eat them. We also waited over 25 minutes for our food - apparently our buzzer was "not working," but instead of figuring out which customer's food was not being collected, they ignored it and let it sit and cool on the counter. When I eventually walked back to the counter and asked if the food overwhich they were literally passing other customers their plates was my order, and they said yes, I told them how long we'd been waiting. One employee said "oh" and another employee responded to him, "Don't worry about it. It's not your fault the buzzer didn't work," without looking in my direction or even offering to reheat our cold sandwiches.

Always tastes fresh and they have a big variety. They are open for dine in again with restrictions of course. An employee has to do the salad bar for you and you have to get a new cup every time you get water (seems wasteful but I guess it’s so your face germs don’t touch the machine). I tried the lobster soup and it was okay (I should have known better for $6 a bowl and after just having super fresh seafood at the beach last week it would pale in comparison). I wanted my old faithful favorite, the bow tie noodle pasta with zucchini and other vegetables but they have a limited menu due to COVID-19. My kids split a chicken Alfredo with me and they loved it. Afterwards we all got ice cream. It’s a good place to go and hang out and eat fresh food.
