Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Knoxville

I just sent my son to purchase a large the works pizza and cheese sticks. The last time we placed an order j asked that green olives be added and when we got the pizza no green olives. So today i told my son to place the order the pizza ask for the green olives be put on side. He was told that they couldnt do this. I was very upset, I'm willing to pay more, and I also asked for garlic butter tonight but got no green olives and no garlic butter kn side. When my son asked why the young man said we just dont do that anymore. So j was upset to say the least I called asked to speak with the manager ready to be a pain. I asked if he could please tell me how I could order a pizza with green olives and actually get them either on pizza or on side and I will pay for them. Well I spoke to Mr. White who was a saving grace as far as I'm concerned! I was ready to go back to papa John's pizza, but Mr. White the manager was so pleasant, listen to my complaint and corrected it ! I am writing this because this is the best customer service I have received, in a professional manner and with real concern with making the customer happy! If marco's district manager or corporate is reading reviews I hope you know your manager Mr. White at the tazwell pike location saved you customers! There are 11 family members in four homes that place orders from this store and Mr. White endured we will keep coming back to Marco's! So please show him how much Marco's appreachates employees (who just happens to be a manager ) how much they appreciate the amazing job he is going! Great pizza!!! At peak hours traffic in Pigeon Forge comes to a normal stand still with the MILLIONS of people that flood to the Great Smokey Mountains durung the Spring Break to New Years tourist seasons. For that very reason alone any type of delivery can and will take some time. Also there are numerous dine in, walk in, carry out, delivery, uber eats and pre orders all being made at once. Birthdays, weddings and friendly family gatherings all call at a moments notice with orders large and small. Motels, cabin rentals, buisnesses, folks at home and work all call at this same instance with their orders too. Time is Irrelevant as staff is at full swing doing the best job that can possibly be done. There are other very good reasons why it can take two+ hours for a pizza when your stay is only four minutes away. Over 100+ orders come in and take place at once. A single order can be 50 pizzas with 100 sub sandwiches and 100 bags of chips are placed. Orders are then hand made and stuck in the ovens ASAP then hand packed. It's going to take time when well over 100 individual orders take place, as most orders are placed at the same time. I have ordered pizza from this location multiple times and have had excellent service so I tried to order my normal pizza’s as usual I placed an order on Saturday at 6:47pm and got a call from Marcos a few minutes later stating that they could not deliver to my area because they have to keep their drivers safe and do not deliver after dark, she offered a discount if I could come in and get it but I am sick and can’t leave the house and my kids really really wanted pizza tonight so I guess I will be ordering from somewhere else. I shouldn’t be able to submit an order online if they are done for the night delivering orders. I looked back at my previous orders and I placed an order at 7:30pm on September 10th, 2018 and September 18th, 2018 at 7:30pm and they delivered them both times with no problems. I will not be ordering from Marcos Pizza anymore, too bad I have always tipped $10-15 on...
