This location has the best freshest food. It tastes good, definitely different from the other locations. The grease doesn't taste old, the fries are always fresh and salted accordingly, the sandwiches are actually hot and the cheese melts, the tea is fresh, etc... special shout-out to the person who makes the biscuits, they are perfect, fluffy, never fall apart, and made just right! They taste like they're made with love, and like the ones I got as a child! Cumberland Ave location is fast friendly service, never a wait, and the order is always correct with the proper sauces, napkins, straws, etc. Unlike Western Ave being the worst, 7 outta 10 times no straw, no napkin, charge u for 1 sauce (I can see if u asked for several) food never right, chicken tastes like old grease and overdone/stringy, fries give u high blood pressure from over salting, tea tastes old, biscuits are flat, crumbling apart, cut weird because they're flat, and GREASY with too much butter!!! Manager is argumentative, several times I've had to argue because they made my food wrong. They pull up every time, and they look like they're high, when you have a problem they all come to the counter aggressively and say they're related. Will embarass you! Kingston Pike near Papa johns same issues except they have a lot of young smart mouths, who will never crack a smile, roll their eyes, and look like they hate their job! So, just wanted to recognize how good Cumberland Ave is, I just ate breakfast and my chicken biscuit was so good, and my biscuit was a fluffy cloud of perfection! I feel I get my money worth when I eat at this location and I'm happy and don't regret...
Read moreSo I'm sure there's a checklist of tasks within the store that are meant to be done everyday and I imagine that checking the soda machine to make sure that syrups and carbonation are properly functioning is on one of those lists. I came through the drive-thru this morning I ordered a couple sandwiches and a large dr. Pepper young lady gave me but Dr pepper and I could automatically tell from the color that the syrup was out it looks like a very weak t so I let her know I had to do the drink back she said okay you know we'll get it changed out for you she proceeded to give me the rest of my order and asked me to pull up so they could switch out the syrup. probably takes about 5 minutes not the end of the world I know it's a hassle and they had other customers behind me whose orders they had to fulfill. However upon taking a sip of my now correctly colored dr. Pepper I come to discover that it is entirely flat. so either the carbonation needs to be looked at or they just topped off the already filled cup with a little bit of the refreshed syrup. It's really disappointing way to start the morning so I called the store to let them know the situation the young lady I spoke to on the phone was fairly apologetic I inform her was not angry at her it was not her fault. however I do find it disappointing that such a large chain is not taking proper steps to ensure that they are providing what a customer orders in the best fashion possible.
I'll give it three stars though because they did try and change out the syrup and also because they're the only store in the Knoxville area that has the bagel sandwiches which are actually...
Read moreIf I could give this McDonald’s 0 starts I would. I live close to this McDonald’s and have been there a few times and have never once had a good experience and tonight was the last time I will ever go. The employees have horrible customer service and they are never timely. Tonight (Tuesday Dec 11 @ 11 pm) when I went through the drive thru the person taking my order had no idea what they were talking about and when I got to the window to pay the lady opened the window and without saying a word stuck her hand out reaching for my card. I gave it to her and she shut the window again without saying a word. She kept my card inside with her for the entire time she was getting my order together which took her at least 5 minutes. She then opened back up the window and handed me part of my order while she had a conversation with another employee. I still didn’t have my card back. The man behind her then asked what else we were supposed to get and I told him and she finally got the rest of my order... and then decided to give me my card back. She never once said a single word to me, never told me how much my order was, and only talked to the other employees. I never recieved a receipt and the food wasn’t even cooked properly. Things like this happen every time I got to this McDonald’s and it’s ridiculous. There is a different McDonald’s that is further away but I would rather drive there than go to this McDonald’s again and I will be taking my business there from now on. I will never go to this...
