McDonald's — Restaurant in Knoxville

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!!! This is the worst McDonalds I have ever eaten at. They hire druggies and alcoholics who never get you order correct because they are stoned. I have given this place several tries before giving a review thinking that maybe it was just a bad employee and maybe, just maybe they have improved the Customer service at this location! NOPE!!! Don’t eat here!! Had another terrible experience tonight! The guy that took our order at the front had obviously been drinking, he wreaked of alcohol, kept repeating himself and speaking with very slurred speech. Once he FINALLY completed our order we moved to the pick up counter. Well guess what?! Almost the entire order was incorrect!! The manager did not help! My son went to the counter to tell her that his order was wrong and ask her to correct his order, she just told him that it wasn’t what was on his receipt!!! Really?!! That’s what he was trying to tell her!!! She refused to correct it but said she would be happy to ring up another order for him!!! WHAT!?!! 😡 I spoke with manager afterwards to let her know of the poor service that we had received and I told her about the employee that smelled of alcohol. Her reply “yea, I know... he just got out of rehab”!! 😱😡. She didn’t even try to make things right for us she said she was sorry and went about her business. She said that she smelled the alcohol on him when he came into work yet she chose to put him on the frontline to deal with customers?!! Very poor management if you ask me. If this is the service that we receive on the front end I can only imagine what goes on in the back where they prepare everyone’s food!!! Just save yourself the trouble!!! Don’t eat here!!! I had an order that was paid for but not picked up. I went in today and could show proof of where I had paid however, never made it physically to the location to get it. It was just a combo and wasn't even going to make a big deal about it until I felt like my character was being disrespected. The manager was looking at me like I was lying because I did not have a physical receipt. I asked how could I even get a "hardcopy" of the receipt when I was NEVER physically there!?!? The manager Derek said that he would give me a combo to "take-care-of" The order that was never picked up. I agreed to this only to find that instead of the entire combo he tried to give me a double and tea and acted like I should have been over joyed by this gesture. No, Don't tell me that you are going to do something then act like it is me that has the problem when I ask about the fries he handed me a child fry that comes with a happy meal. I purchased 6 other menu items during my visit today. Which every single item was incorrect. I will never eat at this location again. When you take the customer out of the service it is just service and there is nothing special to me about that. Too many other options available for me to settle for below average anything. I just don't understand why people have to be so disrespectful and rude when In all reality I really wasn't in there to make a big deal out of this. If you want McDonald’s do not for the love of god go to this location. My last and final experience with it involved me placing an order of a single Big Mac. After placing my order and waiting 25 minutes and seeing several people get their food before me I approached the counter and asked for my order. I was met with nothing short of the rudest lady I’ve ever encountered. I asked for my order and her response was that there was nothing she could do and wouldn’t even try to figure out the problem. I was not alone as she not only was rude to me but countless other customers. They approached the counter much like I did and was met with the same disdain. Keep in mind I work at the liquor store less than 500 feet away from the restaurant so I’ve been here before and never had a problem before. Whoever that lady is either needs to be retrained, placed in a class for how to practice patience, or needs to be fired. For those wondering I did not get her name but if you see an older shirt lady with glasses and slightly gray hair turn the other way. I promise you will not have any shred of a pleasant experience if she’s working. I recognize that I work at a liquor store but never in my life have I been rude to anyone of the customers I encounter. Avoid this location...
