Mer-Mer's Bakery — Restaurant in Knoxville

Last minute a different bakery canceled my daughter's smash cake order, so I googled Bakery near me and started calling down the list. Everyone said they couldn't do it with only a weeks notice, until I called Mer Mer's. Her schedule was booked and she wasn't taking orders but she made time anyways to make a smash cake super last minute so my daughter could have one. I told her she didn't have to do anything extravagant, she could just do pink icing and sprinkles but she went above and beyond and made the perfect cake for my daughter's donut and sprinkles, Sweet 1, themed party. This bakery is amazing. The specialty cakes are beautiful and the caramel cake.which we bought is equal to the "popular Mimi's caramel cake" which was sold in Knoxville for years at Ham and Goodies. I was told she had stopped making them. Fairly recently I found that cake ( that I had looked for years) being sold at Seafood dock. But. the price was exorbitant. AND To me, The caramel iced cake at Mer-Mer's is even better and with much better/ fairer price. Even more beautiful are the Mer-Mer owners, Chandra and Chrissi.
