After searching for a Knoxville postcard I decided to call the Visitors Center. I was asked to send a postcard to a nephew in Dallas, Texas to report a citing of the Gingerbread Man- a kindergarten class project. Relatives were asked to send postcards from all over the world to share the different locations of where the Gingerbread Man had been seen.
I had the most pleasant experience!! The Director of the Visitors Center, Monica went above and beyond to help me!! She helped me choose the perfect card, and personally wrote my card from my dictation and placed it in the mail for me!! Saw a parking lot with a sandwich board sign that read $2 parking 7AM-7PM and so we parked there assuming it was free after those hours (since most parking lots are) and when we returned from dinner less than an hour later we had two boots on the car. It cost $75 to remove them--which is absolutely absurd. No parking ticket but two boots.
