I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sammie's Cafe, and it turned out to be a delightful experience. The cozy and friendly atmosphere immediately caught my attention, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed meal.
I opted for the cheese burger, a unique twist on a classic. The choice of having it on toast with just cheese brought a new dimension to the familiar flavors. The Mac and cheese on the side was a delightful addition, perfectly complementing the main dish. The attention to detail in each element of the meal showcased the chef's commitment to quality.
My wife went for the Sammie sandwich with fries, and it was a hit. The sandwich was a well-balanced combination of flavors, and the fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. It's evident that the menu is carefully crafted to cater to diverse tastes while maintaining a consistent level of excellence.
One of the standout aspects of Sammie's Cafe is its reasonable pricing. Considering the high quality of the food and the inviting ambiance, the value for money is exceptional. It's refreshing to find a place that doesn't compromise on taste while keeping affordability in mind.
Moreover, the staff at Sammie's Cafe deserves special mention. Their friendliness and attentiveness added a personal touch to the overall experience. It's clear that the team takes pride in providing excellent service, making guests feel genuinely welcome.
In conclusion, Sammie's Cafe is a hidden gem that exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a fan of innovative takes on classic dishes or simply looking for a welcoming spot with delicious food, this cafe is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied palate, a happy wallet, and a strong recommendation for anyone in search of a memorable...
Read moreOk, I have mixed feelings about this place, so I'm just going to tell you about my experience, & let you decide. I want to add, that I'm highly sensitive to background noise, so I try to avoid noisy restaurants. With that said, I picked a table for just 2 people, since I was by myself. I ordered a grilled chicken chef salad. I told them to hold a few items, so the pic isn't everything that comes on it. The salad was great & way more than I could eat. My coke tasted good as well. The reason I only gave 3 stars, was that my waitress wasn't as attentive as she could have been. Also, there was an employee, who I later realized, was the owner, that was listening to news or something on his cell phone, very loudly. I thought that was kind of rude. I almost didn't mention it, because I'd like to go back again. Anyway, if you can stop in when they aren't crowded, I do recommend giving them a try. You get your money's worth.
Update: I've been two more times now, and I've had the fried flounder as well as the tuna melt hoagie. Both were delicious. The service was really good too, so I've changed my 3 stars to 4 stars. As long as I continue to have good meals and service here, I'll keep...

My food was still not made correctly I asked for no tomato for a reason....... I am allergic to them and yet there they were on my food I'm trying not to be hateful because I really do like the place and the food but the price is crazy for LUNCH I mean come on 20+ for lunch is ridiculous when 2 people can eat at a different place for what 1 does there.,....
