The water fountain in the lobby feeds the moss wall which helps keep the air clean. I really enjoyed their communal area downstairs. They offer free breakfast omelettes or eggs of any kind and I highly recommend you take them up on the offer. Absolutely delicious food as well as other hot items such as biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, some kind of potatoes or hash browns usually, and a variety of jellies and jams and cream cheese. They also have a selection of different types of bread to toast. A pleasant surprise in a covid world. I'm a night worker / day-sleeper so I had a room on the top floor and I didn't have a single time that I was woken up. Originally I was on the third floor and there vacuums make a lot of noise when they are above you. They moved me to the top floor and I didn't have any more problem after that. I like that the laundry services 24 hours and it doesn't bother anyone because it's downstairs adjacent to the pool and the gym. It was $2 per wash and a dollar fifty per dry, and each additional quarter would get you an additional three minutes of dry time. They give you two boxes of tide and one dryer sheet box for free at the desk if you ask. All the deaf people were quite nice and efficient at their jobs. I left a couple of items for a couple of different people at the front desk and they both received them without a problem. There is a long Bank of Tesla electric car plug-ins on the back side of the building. On the front and the end there is parking for the rest of the non-electric vehicles. Although not far from one of the interstates I never heard any noise inside from it. There isn't much to look at outside the window as you are near the high-end vehicle dealerships and there is a little private grocery store across the street called Copper Kettle or something like that. They make great desserts and if you are barbecuing they have excellent meat selection and cheeses and wines. It was easy to get in and out of the parking lot onto the Main Street and up to the highway and interstates. Fair warning 40 and 75 meet nearby and there's a good amount of the day that it's just absolutely snarled traffic wise. So plan ahead and give yourself an extra half hour to 45 minutes if you are going during morning or evening commute times. You are approximately 60 miles away from the great smokey mountains park and the Gatlinburg elevated Bridge with the glass bottom is about 140 Mi away. I had everything I needed and I hear that the cleaning staff was excellent if you use them. The TV worked fine though I didn't really watch any of it. The water in the shower was hot every time I needed to use it and there were plenty of towels and bath accessories plus you can get razors and toothbrushes from downstairs like usual. Last but not least I did not use the pool and the hot tub was out of order when I was there but I did use the gym. I like the treadmill with all of the programming it had the best but there was also yoga balls and other equipment available with a fridge that had water in it. Bring your own headset or buds and you can listen to whatever Channel you want. Really enjoyed this place! There is a bar downstairs and a restaurant inside. I did not use either during my stay but they smelled great and people seem to enjoy them as...
Read moreTraveled with my child in early 2025. The pool was too heavily chemicalled, which burned our eyes for hours. We were frequently rinsing/flushing our eyes through the night to counteract those detrimental physical health affects of the heavy pool chemicals. We called in a late check out the next morning, which was not honored by the hotel staff. The maids walked in our room as I was resting in a seperate room and my 12 year old was watching TV in his boxers. I woke up to strangers in our room. I was exhausted upon leaving the hotel. They didn't charge for the late checkout and they discounted the room. However, they stated that they would send a Be My Guest certificate in the mail so that we may get a better future experience. It is now August of 2025, and we have yet to recieve that certificate. We called and complained multiple times to management, and we also called the corporate number listed through my Hilton credit card portal to complain. They never responded after making that complaint. All we've heard for months are excuses as to why this certificate hasn't arrived yet, then the excuses turned into apologies after so much time went by that there was no longer any excuses that they could make. Empty apologies with no action due to the fact that they outright lied. We have yet to recieve that certificate in the mail. You'd think they could just simply electronically post that to my account. The customer service is obviously horrific. They don't seem to be very coordinated. My issue with not receiving my be my guest certificate has been tossed around like a hot potato for more than 6 months now. No accountability to be had anywhere in this company. Very unprofessional to lie about resolving an issue. My family is literally relocating soon, and they still haven't sent this Be My Guest certificate. We are obviously not recieving a certificate at this point, despite multiple reassurances that we would. That much is clear. It's meaningless if you take 6 months or more to send it. So much happens in people's lives in a 6 month time period. They may not even be residing at the same address you're supposedly sending their certificate to in that time frame. That certificate should've been handed to us when we checked out of the hotel. What's happened to us is inexcusable. I would be so embarassed if I treated someone like that. They just sidelined me shamelessly like a bunch of thugs. I'm done waiting for them to do what they said they'd do. It's just a well deserved bad review...
Read moreAs a disclaimer, I genuinely hate writing negative reviews and only do so when absolutely necessary. I have stayed at this particular location multiple times, and to be fair, it is a beautiful hotel, and the made to order breakfast is great. But, during my most recent stay at the end of October, I left my almost $200 sonic toothbrush (with replaceable heads) behind on accident. I put the case in my bag, thinking I had already put the toothbrush away, but I had not, and so it got left behind. When I arrived home and realized my mistake, I called the hotel and was instructed to leave a message for the housekeeping staff as they had left for the day. I left a detailed message with my contact info and waited a few days, because I didn't want to be pushy. After no return phone call, I called back and was transferred to the housekeeping staff where I talked to three different people, none of whom even told me their name, and then finally someone told me they would look for it and get back to me, so again, I left my contact info. After two more days I called again, only to be told to leave another message for the housekeeping staff. Frustrated, I finally made a personal visit to the hotel, and the front desk attendant was very nice and when I told her the situation, her facial expression told me this was not an uncommon occurrence, but she went to the housekeeping staff to ask them about it, and came back maybe 15 seconds later to say no one knew where my toothbrush was. I hate to be negative as I have had many nice stays here. I also don't want to wrongly accuse anyone of anything, but I left it in the hotel room, and now it has mysteriously "gone missing" Not sure who would want another person's toothbrush, even if you can replace the heads, but here we are. Now reading the reviews section, it appears others have had a similar experience which is disheartening. If you stay at this hotel, go to the complimentary reception from 5:30-7:30 and go to the made to order breakfast. But DO NOT leave anything behind, because you probably won't ever...
