Subway — Restaurant in Knoxville

I've been here several times with my kids and the service has been good to poor!

Staff (2 girls) was changing shifts and didn't even tell us. She started making my sons sandwiches and after the meat was added she disappeared ( without letting us know). When the other girl came out from the back she was foul in the mouth talking about some issues to the other girl. Then her attitude was harsh..like she didn't want to be there. Then she was rude to my son. He's a bit soft spoken and when she couldn't hear him it was met with a big HUH...? This got me a bit irritated, but kept my cool. She then asked the other lady to send a text for her. My other son was next then I ordered my sandwich shortly after while the kids sandwiches were being toasted. While she was making my sandwhich I noticed the filing was a little low then I asked if that was right and she said it was 2 scoops. However this was not the case after just seeing the other 2 sandwiches made. Then she asked if I wanted double meat and I just agreed to the charge ( just wanted to eat the glass at this point). She goes to the back and comes out and states the following...THERE IS NON PREPPED AT THIS TIME... I asked there isn't any stripped chicken ready?? (Come on...This is mid afternoon!) The other girl said there was some back there, but she didn't listen so I explained to her that I didn't want my sandwich. Here's the best part... When the other girl went to the back she was out in less then 1 minute with the prepped chicken. She asked if I still wanted the sandwich and I said no, the other girl spoiled it for me.

My point is this, we pay for a service and all of us deserve service with convenience, efficiency, common courtesy and a smile. If you can't do this then please do everyone a favor and stay home. Then again, it wouldn't matter because my family and friends will never back here.

Lack of training and management at this location inside the Wal-Mart.

Do yourself a favor and go to the subway up the hill in the gas station. Trust me, you'll have a better day.

Waited for about 10 minutes for the worker to come back from a bathroom break. Okay, that’s fine. Then she comes back with a major attitude, slamming stuff, mumbling under her breath about how she can’t get anything done. Refused to go get more Mayo even though her bottle was empty and continued to bang it numerous times trying to get maybe half a line out of it for each sandwich. Zero hygiene practice. Place was filthy. Trash cans over flowing. Hardly any bread. Gnats everywhere around the soda machine. Lids, straws, napkins all empty out front but she had bags and boxes of them piled behind the register. As soon as we got our food she then goes outside for another 15-20 minutes. People coming in and out, Walmart associates yelling for her, people getting fed up and walking out because she took so long. Then comes in after everyone gave up trying to get food, she comes back in and sits with her “boyfriend” at the table and continued to sit and talk for another 20 minutes. You can’t complain about everything being messed up when you flat out refuse to do your job. This is my usual Subway, and I come to this location often, usually get extremely friendly staff and tip well because of that. I unfortunately have to leave a crummy review based on the service I received on 7/13 @ 2:40am. Shelly the woman taking care of us was extremely rude to me. Skimped my meat on my sandwich and when I asked for just a little more said she was charging me double. No biggie. My boyfriend who was right after me asked for double the amount of meat said there was no additional cost and continued to be rude, only to me and not my significant other. At the end she only charges me for extra meat when it was the normal amount given, whereas my boyfriend; no charge for the heaping amount she gave him. Not pleased at all. I work in the service industry and I usually am easy going....
