This was a horrible experience. First I went to drive through and waited 10 minutes with a car in front of me that no one had took his order. Second I backed up and went inside. There were two people that had placed orders for smoothies that had waited 20 minutes. Shakeita took my order and upon paying slammed cash register drawer and didn't even say thank you. Next after waiting about fifteen minutes. I just ordered one smoothie and I went to cash register to ask for my money back. One guy finally got his smoothie and Shakeita came up to the cash register and completely ignored me. The guy that received his order had ordered after the first lady. Anyway, I had to keep yelling miss for her to finally come to me and I told her I wanted my money back because I didn't have time to wait for 30 minutes for a smoothie. She started arguing with me and another lady came up front to refund my money. I stated Shakeita was hateful and Shakeita argued again with me. The other lady which I assume was a manager didn't say anything to Shakeita. I stated I didn't know how Shakeita still had a job there since she was soooo unfriendly and definitely not a person that should deal with customers and the lady that did the refund didn't say anything at all. This was a horrible visit and I will never go back again. I told the lady that was still waiting good luck. She was very upset as well and the guy that was waiting stated this was his first visit to Tropical Smoothie and he would never return as well. I would not recommend this...
Read moreI was recently disappointed in the service that I received at this location. I ordered and paid online, but when I arrived my order wasn't ready. It was pretty busy and the girls who were preparing the smoothies seemed too busy to correctly complete my order, so the cashier started preparing my smoothie. She had to start it and go back to the cash register, which further delayed my order. I should have checked my order because items that I purchased were left off. I called to speak with the manager so that they could make it right on my next visit, but the shift manager took my call. When I explained my concern, she just remained silent like she didn't know what to do. The first thing to do is offer an apology, but she said nothing. I asked for the manager and she said that he only comes in during the morning hours, but she didn't offer a suggestion, apology, anything.
