Market Place Shopping Center — Local services in Knoxville

Marketplace shopping center has been a secondary go to for me for years due to the fact that I primarily shop at Lowe's and not Home Depot because Lowe's has in my opinion much better customer service and knowledgeable Associates. There are several stores you cannot find anywhere else in Knoxville such as Gabe's and unfortunately the entire right side of the shopping center is nearly deserted which happened nearly as soon as Kroger moved to a super Kroger location off of Cedar Bluff. There is one of the only Captain D's in Knoxville located in the shopping center as well as the u.s. bank which is always helpful.

The Home Depot parking lot is situated on a Hillside and the lot itself is strangely designed to wear if you do not recognize where you can enter and exit you will be trapped in the parking lot as though it was designed by a devious and maniacal engineering team. It is fairly dangerous to turn out of the Home Depot parking lot on to the main Access Road due to blind spots and very tight turns. I had a very bad experience with planet Fitness. I was told you could cancel with a 30 day notice. I walked in said i needed to cancel. The man who ran it at the time told me write my phone number down on a notepad and he would cancel it. He did not. Then when it came out of my account another month I went back down. He said he had no recollection of me being there asking him to cancel it a month prior. Said he would cancel it right then. I freaking hate these ones ! I mean, there ain't no store called market place ! It's a parking lot right ?! And honestly, it's not laid out that well...I was here to trade with the home Depot and I had to snake around to finally find a place near the contractors pickup bc I was buying some heavier items, got a bad back, y'all know how it is...but that's on home Depot too.
