U Brew Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Knoxville

Andrew and his family just opened up U Brew, and we stopped by Saturday afternoon! I went with my wife and almost 2 year old daughter. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, and we had a phenomenal experience.

Their lounge has a fun relaxing atmosphere where you get to choose your own beans, grinder, and brewer. Andrew is extremely knowledgeable and talks you through each step of the process (regardless of if you know a lot about coffee or this is your first time), He also has plenty of fun gadgets for you to use!

Prices for the experience are $15 which includes roughly 450-550mL of coffee (roughly 2 VERY delicious cups of pour over single origin coffees).

They also offer fresh baked Danish pastries from a baker in Loudon, membership subscriptions for you to come back and enjoy on a regular basis, and bean boxes that include a variety of 2oz tubes from the current selection of roasters he has partnered with. They also offer various brewers for you to buy and brew more at home, and retail prices were reasonable.

If you are looking for a place to get a quick drip coffee in 2 minutes and run out the door, this is not that place. Instead they are offering something more relaxing and involved - it is a true experience.

What a great way to experience coffee! So far, I've gotten to try 10 different beans through U Brew! 5 from Radio Roasters in GA and 5 from 4th Level out of KY.

I LOVED how the bags were all marked by number, so I could taste them all "blindly" making my own unbiased opinions on the flavor, texture, etc. #2 from Radio Roasters was INCREDIBLE! That said, the samples do come with a cheat sheet you can reference later in case you want to really know what's up :).

I cannot recommend this coffee experience enough. It's like you get to take a trip around the world without ever leaving your kitchen! So far, I've experienced coffees from Brazil, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, Mexico, and Ethiopia. I can't wait to see what countries get added to my collection with next month's...

Just had one of the best coffee shop experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming—clean, cozy, and full of that amazing fresh-ground coffee aroma that makes you want to stay a while.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. I ordered a [insert your drink—e.g., vanilla oat milk latte], and it was perfect—smooth, balanced, and served at just the right temperature. You can tell they take their craft seriously.
