Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Knoxville

This is the best Zaxby's we have ever been to. They were on point with everything. We always usually wait for our wings because we order for the whole family and it takes a bit to cook them. We never mind about that fact at all. What we do mind is when the order is bagged incorrectly, when the staff is rude, when you tell the workers the order is incorrect they make you feel like you somehow had something to do with it or when the tables are dirty and the staff is just standing around talking. Nothing like that happened at this location. This was the most professionally ran Zaxby's location we have ever been to. The manager David was on it. He made sure his staff was one step ahead making sure tables were cleaned, items for orders were stocked and staff was polite. They even gave us free cookies because we had to wait. We expected to wait due to the number of wings we ordered so to have someone offer you something free, even if it is just cookies, was amazing. On other locations ever made this effort. I will continue to go back to this location and I will tell as many people as possible to go also. Before we left I spoke with the manager and told him that it was a great experience he said thank you and he congratulated the staff very loudly and encouraged them to keep up the good work. We had an awesome visit to this location tonight. One week ago our first experience was less than ideal and we did a review that was less than complimentary which has been deleted. I've never deleted a review before but I was so impressed by our experience tonight I decided to delete it and create this new one. It wasn't long after I posted the negative review from The experience on July 24th that I was contacted by the general manager by telephone. He listened well and felt really bad about our first experience at this restaurant. And he definitely made it right for us so when we came back tonight everything was just awesome. It started at the front counter when we placed our order with Eva. I think Eva understands the importance of relationships and connecting with people as an assistant manager and we appreciated her humor and investment in conversing with both myself and my assistant. Her other crew members Makaela and Starr we're just as friendly and polite for sure. There was no trouble with special requests like trying some of the different hot sauces. When we left we definitely felt valued both as customers and as people which is a rarity nowadays. The lobby experience was comfortable with the background music and overall ambiance. (updatebelow) This is my first time visiting Zaxby's in 2 years and I must say I was appalled at having to pay $27 for a salad and 10 party wings. $15 for 10 party wings is ridiculous and the fact that they had no flavor pissed me off even more. I bought the salad to take to my daughter who is a CNA and works her butt off and it's clear and obvious that the salad was not filled to the capacity that it was suppose to be. I'm so tired of if being ripped off by restaurant's who's food sucks. It's was my first time coming to Zaxby's in over two years but I will never return. They ought to be ashamed of themselves for these prices but serving mediocre food. Chicken again had no flavor. Never again will I spend my money here.

Update: the manager did contact me by email and apologized for the food not being up to par and sent be an email to have my order remade free of charge. I appreciate that because it shows he wants his customers to be satisfied. Kudos !!! Went to get my food replaced and Eva gave me the best customer service ever. She really went out of way to make my return to Zaxby's pleasant. The best customer service I've received in a long time at a restaurant. She's the reason I will definitely return.
