Once I picked up food for door dash and wasn’t sure to waste my time and wait in the long line of people wanting to order food or go up to the side of the counter and let someone know I’m picking up a door dash order. The worker lady yelled at me and said ur gonna have to wait like everyone else she said very rudely. They only start making door dash orders as soon as you get there. So I’m waiting wasting my time in a long line and then waiting for them to start and finish the order. More recently I decided to do a pick up order. Got there and the sign says as soon as you pull in “pick up window” with the sign pointing the direction of the window. Sitting at the window for a while then finally someone comes standing there acknowledged me. Says you gonna have to go to the box. Like what the heck is the box. What is he talking about. I drive all the way around the building and park in an area wondering ok are they gonna come to my car or what then realized he meant the order speaker. So though I was at the window I gotta drive around the building and say I’m picking up an order and I can’t do that at the window which the sign says to go to the pick up window. Not sure why I go to these places anyways. I’m not gonna go back here cause who knows what thing will happen next. It’s obvious which restaurants have good energy and business models and which ones are probably gonna fail eventually because they put money as a priority rather then workers and customers. Read moreJust got out of the hospital for an emergency appendectomy and need something with soft, bland food. Thought of Wendy's because of the baked potatoes. Boyfriend and I went through the drive thru, were asked about giving extra money for a certificate for free smoothies for a year, which we agreed to, and placed our very simple order of a sour cream and chive baked potatoe, a small chilli,water, and a cheeseburger. We paid for our order, and proceeded forward with our food. I Immediately checked the food before we left the drive through line as I always doThey did not include any sour at all. We Immediately backed up through the drive thru to get missing item.The staff saw us thru the drive thru window as we knocked to get their attention . We also honked the car horn. We did this for 7 minutes as they hide around the corner. Finally the manager came over and said we are closed and I let her know they hadn't completed our order. She then brought the sour cream stating we needed to call next time. I let her know we were just in line and literally backed up to get the missing item. I also informed her 4 of her employees stood there and laughed at us through the window. All.she could do is say oh and to call. I let her know she probably wouldn't have answered the phone either.as I walked away out of the drive through. And we never received our receipt or our key fob for the frosties. Read moreThis store is not going to survive if it operates the way it did, when I stopped in, on the evening of the 17th. 8:30 in the evening, on a Saturday, I want grab one item for my drive back to Madison; ONE item. The store is NOT open, so I have to use the drive through. Twenty minutes, I'm waiting. The car in front of me must have ordered for a wedding reception or something, he was giving the order for a full 3 minutes. The bad part is that I have to wait behind this car to get his order before I get mine, which takes 30 seconds to make (a frosty). You don't have a system that has this large order pull ahead, so you can give me mine? Ridiculous. I have to wait another 10 minutes for his order to be made before I can move up. Then, of course because my order has been done that entire time, it's mostly melted.
Why would I stop here, again? Fast food? Wow. I've always loved the Wendy's product, but this is not a way to run a store. Keep going this way, you will be out of business in less that a year. I don't know who is going to sit line like that, with no option. Sorry, it...
