KFC — Restaurant in La Crosse

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The woman working the drive thru was very rude and disrespectful from the beginning, as long as obnoxious and full of herself. I asked her to repeat what she had said in the drive thru because I didn't catch it all, and she immediately got an attitude. We pulled up to the window to pay and she said "how can I help you" with a snotty tone. I said "with less attitude please" and she told us, and I quote "I ain't finna do this" when I asked her to please lose the attitude she had with me. Then I proceeded to hear her talking about us with coworkers in the kitchen. Once we were very rudely served I called the store and asked to speak with the manager, whose attitude was hardly better, if better at all. The drive thru worker, Octavia, and her manager both successfully made sure they lost a customer to the store. I would not recommend this store to anyone who would like to be treated with respect. Im sad to say I am very, very disappointed and disgusted with the customer service here.

UPDATE! We got home and half of the food was stale, you could tell it definitely wasn't fresh, as it was hard to even chew the fries. They also didn't give us all of the sides that we had ordered and paid for. We had also asked for original chicken, and they gave us crispy chicken, and the biscuits were all smashed up and broken apart. We also didn't receive all of the chicken that we should have. I really want to give this specific KFC four or more stars but it would be a lie. I have gone here a lot over the years, and I have learned that everything depends on who is working and time of the day. I have had great food here; flavorful, hot, finger licking good. And then I have had food that was so stomach turning awful I turned it over to the County Health Dept. The place is a dump, there I said it. The customer area is decently taken care of most of the time, this employee side, not so much. Food on the floor, debris, just general grime. And the flies their everywhere in the summer in that building, it is a scary sight seeing fly paper rolls hang around the building when your ordering. Then there is the employees; there are some standards when working in the profession of food service, they have none, at all. The black shirts (leads or supervisors or mangers) whatever they are they know what their doing, but that's were it ends. As for the rest, bottom of the barrel, literally. Ability to comprehend and communication skills few if any don't expect your orders to be correct. Ability to stay on task and work efficiently appears to be a concept not a reality. Basic math skills, what are those??? They look like homeless people wearing red shirts; pants hanging off their butts, backwards hats, no hair nets, reeking of smoke from their last cigarette break or just reeking of...

Went thru the drive thru. Specifically asked for the chicken strips to be fresh and told them I would even wait for them.. reason for this is because they are ALWAYS COLD AND DRY AND HARD AS A ROCK so they tell me that they are already fresh.. I knew immediately they wouldn't be but gave them the benefit of the doubt I didnt wanna be a crazy Karen and double down I decided to trust them instead.. gee what do u think I received?...😑😑😑 HARD COLD DRY CHICKEN ROCKS. And the mashed potatoes tasted watered down and flavorless.. This is the whole reason I rarely go there I gave up trying to get food that was EDIBLE. Im done. It's not hard to make food worth eating especially if the customer is willing to wait patiently... No wonder they aren't the leader in fast food...
