Backdoor Cafe — Restaurant in La Follette

So, St. Patrick's Day, had a moment and thought I'd celebrate, taking some fish and chips and looking for a bit of traditional cream. So thinking one could order a Irish Cream, the surly lot replied "This is a bar." Thinking now their a bit slower than the average Lafolleton now. I say, "oh anything Irish?" Then she goes ahead and says, "A BEER bar, the liquor bar is the Mexican Restaurant." pointing her finger like she's about to squall. Now thinking "Back Door" is less white than the Mexicans, certainly less educated. (so's the school, 65% white have above average in sciences, 30% latinos, 15% blacks, and 0 to 5% CCHS graduates.) It's would be a dive anywhere else though.

Don't like beer, and surely wouldn't need some idiot to open the bottle as a profession. Never heard of a 'beer only bar', basically piling up trash at .. 'the back door'. Yes, racism, the last refuge of the incompetent and fugly.

This is a cash only beer bar with a small menu of food options, plan accordingly. Although I do think they have an atm. Excellent chicken wings and buffalo chips. Everyone loves the worm sauce. This is a relaxed atmosphere, with no juke box and no pool table, so if you are wanting somewhere rowdy or with that kind of entertainment, there's other options close by. Back in November around 15 of us who served together in the Marines met up for the weekend near by. I believe Friday night November 12 we went out to checkout the local bars.
