China Town Cafe — Restaurant in La Follette

So I've ate at over no joke probably 100 some Chinese buffets over the past 14 years and I was impressed with this one. So today was my first time eating here. When I showed up at the front it didn't take long for someone to show up. He told me to feel free to sit anywhere so I was like okay cool. I got my drink quickly and when I got the food and sat back down and starting eating I thought it tasted pretty good. Now, the atmosphere isn't fancy or even the cleanest BUT the food was 🤤 The place is big but it's peaceful and I felt relaxed and enjoyed my time here. Service was just fine nothing over the top nor was it poor at all. My only recommendations would be to maybe play some peaceful music but not to loudly to keep the relaxing atmosphere and maybe have more Chinese decor on the walls but other then that the food and service was just fine. This place don't look like much on the outside but don't let that fool ya. And again it's nothing fancy but I'll definitely be coming back. It's one of the few places I've ever seen with he Mongolian Chicken that I like personally speaking. So, We were originally going to Golden Oak in Oak ridge, (I honestly wish we had), before going in I looked at the reviews and was very worried, because 90% of them were bad, when we got in a nice waiter seated us, Got our drink orders, and brought them by quickly, then we got our food and stuffs, The Sweet and sour chicken was very chewy, Couldn't finish it, the Lo Mein was Okay.. not bad but not quite good either, The sushi wasn't the best either, It tasted weird, The Garlic bread was stale and hard, The popcorn shrimp was nasty, The only great thing about the food was the Mozzarella sticks and the dessert, I got the Star shaped bread things, And the lemon icing filled bread thing, they were really good I almost got all of it on my plate lol, The lemons were horrible though, Like usually I LOVE lemons- less expensive sour candy, But the lemons here were awful, Left a horrible aftertaste in my mouth even after I chugged a bottle of water and a bottle of sprite, Anyway, The people were nice, the waiter DID ask us how we were, Twice because we weren't there that long, She brought us the bill though when I hadn't had seconds yet or dessert so I don't know If I did a crime by eating more after she brought the bill... Just prepared for them to charge what ever they want. We went last Friday right before 4pm ate buffet. The very last thing my mother ate was a few pieces of coconut shrimp got our bill it was under $40. Now fast forward it’s Tuesday ( 4 days later) we went closer to 3pm ate buffet again. Her last plate again was a few pieces of coconut shrimp again. Cause they brought it out right as we were done both times but today quite a bit earlier than Friday. We get our bill it’s $47. I asked why cause we just came and ate and ordered the exact same drinks as 4 days ago but we are here even earlier than before.
