El Pueblito — Restaurant in La Follette

To start off the service was horrible! We had to flag our waiter down several times to get refills! They forgot my sons whole meal! We asked for ketchup 3 times for my nephews fries & nuggets and never got it! The food was the worst food from a Mexican restaurant that I’ve ever had! The salsa tasted like it was from jar & the chips were from a bag! We had 3 dishes that had cheese sauce (queso) on it & it was so spicy they couldn’t eat it! I got the $16.99 tbone steak & shrimp & if you look at the photo you can see how much was ate! The steak was tough & flavorless. The shrimp had no flavor as well! Almost everything was either crazy spicy or bland! The ground beef chimichanga was good & the chicken fajita was good but was mostly onion peppers & Tomatoes! The restrooms was nasty & all of the floors were sticky your feet constantly stuck to the floor! We had to ask for silverware! The guacamole which I love was so nasty several of us gagged! I’m usually not the type of person to complain but this food & service was unacceptable! My sons who are not picky eaters maybe ate 3 bites of their food! I wasted $64 on food that...

This is review only has 1 star because its required to leave a review. This has been the worst restaurant experience of my life. We were told 10-15 minute wait. We were forced to wait 30 minutes then were seated and was given salsa and chips. We had wait another 10 minutes to ask for the waiter to ask us what we wanted to eat and drink. Then another 10 minutes for our drinks (3 waters....) We asked for a burrito and add shrimp in it and they literally only gave us a tortilla with unseasoned shrimp in it. And my husband's and my meal was thrown at us and my daughters meal was thrown at her instead of sat in front of her. Our waiter never came to check on us or ask us if we needed refills. When we went to pay our tab he wouldn't let us speak with a manager about our meal or anyone other than him. I refuse to eat here again or recommend this...

Service every single time I go here was amazing except for the last time. Our waiter had a hard time understanding what we wanted because he didn't understand or comprehend the English language. I told the waiter we wanted hot wings to go 4 times when he visited our table to check on us and no problem my friend so when we went to pay for our check and ask him where our wings to go are? He says huh what wings and I'm like I told you 4 times I wanted wings to go and he is like sorry I didn't know. So next time I will ask for certain waiters that have provided greatest service you can get at a food establishment and don't get me wrong I love this place and everyone in but this last time was a bad experience and I don't like to be charged for stuff...
