I love chipotle! I always come to the La Habra location! Normally, the service is great the portions are good and the food is excellent! Unfortunately, when I got off work today I got to chipotles at about 9:10 PM because it closes at 10. I wanted my usual burrito and my son wanted one as well! Before I could order the associate said they were out of 60% of the items we wanted in our burrito and that also included the meats🤷♂️ I have been a manager for 28 years, not in the fast food sector, but in consumer services. This was so disappointing, the associate told me it’s “not my fault”! I told him I understand it’s not your fault, but at the same time I told him he should speak to his manager and explain to him that Chipotles is a service business and even if there will be some waste, never disappoint the customer. you are destined to lose their business! He did not even offer it to discount my order to help alleviate the disappointment! Needless to say, I probably will not be going back to this Chipotle! I understand the economics and wanting to keep the bottom line has tight as possible! But in this economy, I would think Chipotle would want to hang onto all their customers! So there has to be a fine line to where, what makes sense in the long run. So many food establishments are going out of business, so maybe corporate should consider modifying the business model to satisfy the customer! Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this Chipotle location. There were two employees working when I arrived: a blonde woman with glasses and a Black male employee. They didn’t even greet me when I came to pick up my order. When I mentioned I was there to pick up an online order, instead of checking, they just curtly asked for my name in a rude manner as if they hadn’t heard me.
To make things worse, I had ordered a total of seven items, but they initially only gave me a bag with three items. I realized the mistake only after I got to my car and had to go back to the store. Even then, neither of the employees apologized or showed any courtesy to address the issue.
Furthermore, I later discovered that one item was still missing when i got back to the office. I had to go back to the store a second time, and only then did they finally say a brief ‘sorry about that,’ without eye contact or any genuine apology, showing an overall very poor attitude. I already left a review after the first disappointing experience, but having to go back yet again for a missing item was beyond frustrating.
I believe the manager needs to re-evaluate the training of the staff at this location. This isn’t just about my experience—if this continues, it could negatively impact other customers as well. I’m leaving this review not just to express my disappointment but in the hope that it leads to better customer service here. Read moreTalk about a great place that's going downhill. I use to go here more often but the quality and service has gone down so much I've stopped going. I gave them one more chance today and they messed up again.
Not only did I have to wait in an insane line, they are clearly overworking their front line people. This is the second time I've been mischarged so I'm pretty much done coming here. The cashier working today looked like she didn't even know what planet she was on. She was standing asleep so I wasn't even mad that she overcharged me, she clearly didn't know where she was.
Constantly out of stock on utensils, dirty environment, dirty workspace behind the counter, a week or two ago when I went I think the guy cooking burnt something and made the whole restaurant smell like chili.
I tried ordering online and it was even worse - the order was totally wrong.
I'm no longer coming here and it's a shame since I live so close.
