Honeyfish Poke — Restaurant in La Habra

Walking in to Honeyfish is always a treat. It is bright and cheerful, and made more so by the genuinely happy greeting from the staff as I enter. Their equipment is new, clean and cared for. The ingredients here are fresh and well tended. I can't recall a time when they seemed off or unkempt. When making your order the staff is generous and are careful to make sure your order is exactly how you want it. For most add on's, (things like, green onion, cilantro, edamame, cucumbers, and many other yummy things), if you want a little more, just ask! They are happy to oblige. And ditto for their bevy of tasty and interesting sauces and sauce combinations! Personally, I always get my orders with the spring mix salad, although you can also choose rice or kale. Every order I've had here has been tasty and refreshing.

Although the food here is why I originally chose to eat here, their customer service is why I come back. No matter what staff member has assisted me, they have been pleasant, charming, and attentive. When eating at a quick service establishment like Honeyfish, I find it hard to find a reason to tip based on the type of service provided. However; I always make sure to tip them here based on their consistent kindness and alacrity in making my order.

This place has become my favorite poke place, and I keep returning. That honor used to lie with Fins or Tails poke, but they were recently bought and changed into Rainbow Poke, which is good, but not as good. Smaller portions and increased prices are never a selling point for me.That's why I like this place so much. Good prices, great portions, and fresh food. They have fantastic sauces and a great variety of add-ons and dry toppings.

Only caveat is one of the times I was inside, one of the girls (maybe a manager, I'm not sure) was being pretty rude to the other girls while she was taking my order. Made me kinda sad. :c But as long as I don't continue seeing things like that I'll probably be a regular here for quite a while. Definitely worth...

Absolutely delicious. By far one of the best poke spots in SoCal. I went with the four-protein combo, opting for an authentic Hawaiian-style poke. I specifically chose ahi, salmon, scallop, and spicy ahi. The employee kindly accommodated my request to mix three of the proteins with the sauce while leaving the spicy tuna separate in the bowl.

I chose a mix of spicy mayo, eel sauce, tobiko, and green onion for the proteins — absolutely top tier. The produce was incredibly fresh, and the overall quality really stood out. The staff was also very kind and attentive.
