Yum Yum Donuts — Restaurant in La Mesa

DO NOT COME HERE, especially at night. I'm not sure how they operate during the day so they may be different but. I came here around midnight to grab a dozen for me and my roommates, I didn't expect their donuts to be fantastic since it was the last of their days batch and that was okay, However what agitated me the most was that when I approached the store, both of the doors were locked ( i was really confused since it said "open 24 hours") their worker looked at me as if i was a criminal and angrily told me to order from a tiny window they had on the side of their store. I needed to get a dozen but the view from the tiny window was extremely difficult to see what kind of donuts they had, so when I was ordering the worker cussed me me out in spanish the entire time, he assumed that I didn't understand spanish which I did. It was incredibly difficult to keep a cool temper this entire time, I literally just wanted to stop my order half way . I don't expect great customer service from a donut shop but I would appreciate some courtesy.

Even if it was the last of the day's batch, I BELIEVE THEY DON'T THROW OUT THEIR DONUTS, they tasted like they were there...

6/16/24 1:30pm Went it Today for a quick bite to eat and an Iced Coffee. The older lady Mexican at the counter was not very helpful and seemed annoyed to be here. I asked for a sandwich and when she asked what type of bread I wanted I replied with what are my options...she said they're right there look yourself with an attitude. Then I proceeded to order a cinnamon iced coffee that is on the poster as I walked in and she seemed very confused and asked me what I wanted in my coffee? I said I just want the one in the picture...she rolls her eyes! The exact definition of if you don't like your job get a different one! Once I get my order In and pay for it she tells me ok step aside and wait over there. (I knew that's the proper thing to do) and to finish it off I watched her tell someone "next time use the window because of your dog!" The sign on their door says service animals welcome! Older Hispanic Lady is rather rude an unfriendly. I live a block away from Yum Yum Donuts. I drive 1.6 miles to Sunny Donuts just because of the staff in Yum Yum. Last night(08/11/207) I went to Yum Yum around 8:30 PM. I only ordered two donuts. one apple fritter and a chocolate bar. The Old lady gave me a apple fritter and a chocolate milk. When I told here what I asked for she; said I asked for chocolate milk (calling me a liar) and proceeded to argue the point. I didn't go to yum yum for chocolate milk and I told her that. She put the donuts in a bag and folded the top. The bill was $2.18. I gave her a five $5.25 and told her to just give me back $3.00 and put the change in the cup on the counter.
