Great service, ethical business man & very reasonable prices! I just read now read a hateful & negative review posted on May 19 that is the total opposite of our experience with Mr.Lomeli’s excellent service! One of that reviewer’s comments is that the positive reviews are all family members of Mr. Lomeli-I didn’t know him until he arrived to work on our TV but would consider it an honor if he WERE my relative! My husband & I were so impressed with his honesty, efficiency, polite manner, & I have recommended him to my friends! About 4 weeks ago, on a Saturday, our 10-year old Sony Bravia went black. I checked online for a TV repair, read reviews, called Digital TV Repair & Mr. Lomeli was here within 2 hours. Before he arrived, I had looked on uTube about the flashing red light on my TV & it said most likely it was the main board. Mr. Lomeli assessed the TV & told me that was indeed the problem. He immediately told us what the replacement would cost, then ordered it right then & there; he took the TV & said he would keep us posted. True to his word, he called to update us, & he & a co-worker brought us a “loaner.” It turned out that there was another problem, a defective screen, that damaged the main board, so we decided to just buy another TV. Mr. Lomeli was not going to charge us for the replacement board that he ordered, installed & had shorted out, but we felt that was unfair to him. Hard to believe, but he was only going to charge for the visit & assessment of what was wrong...

I wanted to write the owner "Jose" a really good review because we had a 5-yr old Samsung LED TV which just stopped displaying video (at first intermittently, then permanently). Not only that, my 5-yr warranty through Costco had expired two months too late. We didn't want to spend too much as we could easily purchase a low to medium tier LED TV at WalMart, Best Buy, or the Military Exchange for $400+... We really didn't want to scrap our $1,000+ TV after just 5 yrs of use. Well, #1 Jose was happy to diagnose our TV for FREE, #2 He knew where we were coming from (as we weren't going to spend close to the price of a new TV just to repair it), and #3 he appeared very honest during my 1st visit. Jose was able to resurrect our TV so we could squeeze a few more years out of it without breaking our checkbook. Now we have what we feel is still a great TV that'll last us several more years. Jose fixed it in less than a week, only because he had to order the part for us. You should definitely have him look at your TV if you have any issues with it. Note: Digital Television Repair is a "cash only" business which was the only thing we didn't like, but all of Jose's positives greatly outweigh the fact he doesn't take credit cards.
