Golden Dragon — Restaurant in La Mesa

I was really looking forward to trying this place, especially with its nearly perfect rating. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The cashier got our order wrong and, rather than correcting it, tried to charge us extra to fix the mistake. It was clear she was distracted while taking the order, which likely contributed to the mix-up. In hindsight, I should have double-checked the receipt—but with the high ratings, I didn’t expect there to be an issue in the first place. Hopefully, this was just a one-off, but it did leave a disappointing first impression. Their fried rice was salty, too much soy sauce. The salt & pepper wings were good. Nice spot for really good chinese food and yummy wings. We decided ro get a 2 entree 1 side meal and salt and pepper wings. So glad we did. The orange chicken and the teriyaki chicken were amazing. The noodles and rice were amazing. The spice on the salt and pepper chicken was spot on with a little kick. We definitely recommend you checking...
