I'm writing this review in appreciation of apartment manager, Chelsea Summers. We have lived in our apartment here in La Mesa for almost three years. From the day we met Chelsea until we moved, she has been a perfect example of a property manager. Chelsea is always there for you any time of day with the most positive and lovely attitude. We have lived in many different apartments with many different apartment managers. Never have we had one as extraordinary as Chelsea. She is never too busy and she makes even the smallest problems a priority. Not only does Chelsea care for her tenants but the building as well. She is constantly making our building safer and pleasant every day/week/month. She respects all of us the same and allows us to feel like a community. We will always have fond memories of our time at Palms of La Mesa and that's mainly because of all the hard work, effort and love Chelsea puts into her job. I feel the Palms of La Mesa is lucky to have Chelsea. She is truly one of a kind! Another plus is they are redoing the outside of the apartments, new stucco, new windows. Really looks nice. Very poor management and negligence In with move in process . This management has from beginning of July to fix repairs in the apartment I was going to move into but still haven't and it's a day before move in, and they informed me just a few days ago of lingering pest issue which they said they dont have a definite date it will be resolved. Now having temporarily staying at a park justo move into on 24 this was way too negligible on their part and me and my son and dog have already experienced great emotional and financial suffering. Now I have to be homeless for an unknown amount of time . This place unfortunately has a negative attitude which will only bring more negativity to them . I feel that the management likes to discriminate against their tenants. The management likes to tell their tenants housing people that helped the tenants get the apt that they will not renew their lease & also tell them that they don't want them there anymore. Honestly I feel something needs to be done about this. There should be no discrimination on anyone but yet that is exactly what the management is doing is discriminating against people that needs help with housing.
