I placed an order online at 8:15, and they charged my account. I get a Doordash notification that the driver has been assigned. I see on the map that the driver arrived. Then I heard nothing from them for a while. At 9:06, 6 minutes after the store closed, I got a notification that my order was either changed or canceled... still no word from them. Then, I got a notification that my order was transferred to Uber... it never arrived. At 9:42, 42 minutes after closing, I got a text from the Uber driver saying the store was closed so they couldn't pick up the order.

I ordered a custom birthday cake for my husband on a Friday for pick up Sunday. I arrived on Sunday expecting to be in and out but knew there was an issue when I was asked several times what my order was. Turns out my order never got made. Jessica, the manager, greeted me, apologized for the inconvenience and made me a new cake on the spot. During my time waiting for the cake I observed the staff to be very helpful, patient, and mannerly to customers. The restaurant was very clean, great customer service, all employees had a mask on, and during this time of Covid-19 they had a sanitized pen and sanitizer available at the counter for customers. I ordered Somewhere Over the Rain-dough and saw that they were adding regular table sugar to it. I asked what is going on here. The recipe calls for sugar crystals and that was the part of the recipe that I enjoyed the most. I was told someone ordered regular sugar by mistake and so they had to use it before ordering the crystals. I think that's outrageous!
