I recently had the pleasure of visiting a fantastic restaurant Kaow Thai that left me pleasantly surprised with its delightful offerings and warm Valentine's Day ambiance. From the moment I entered, the atmosphere exuded romance and sophistication, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.
The evening began with a selection of strong and expertly crafted drinks that perfectly complemented the flavors to come. The mixologist's (Jenna)creations were nothing short of impressive, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and presentation. Sipping on these libations truly elevated the entire dining adventure and gave me a slight buzz.
Moving on to the appetizers, I was met with an array of mouthwatering options (we chose 2 types of sushi and fried chicken and shrimp wontons) Each bite was a burst of flavor and texture, leaving me yearning for more. It was evident that the ingredients used were exceptionally fresh, as the flavors were vibrant and the textures perfectly executed.
What truly elevated this dining experience was the exceptional service provided by our server, Jenna. Her knowledge, attentiveness, and genuine warmth added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening. She guided us through the menu with expertise, ensuring that our every need was met. Her friendly demeanor and genuine passion for the restaurant's offerings were truly commendable.
The main course (my wife had the drunken noodles with chicken and pork. I had the pad Thai with Chicken and vegetables) was a symphony of flavors, beautifully plated, and prepared with utmost precision. Each dish showcased the commitment to using the finest ingredients available and the attention to detail was evident.
In summary, this restaurant provided an exceptional Valentine's Day experience. The strong drinks, delicious appetizers, and fresh ingredients combined to create a culinary journey that delighted the senses. The romantic atmosphere added an extra touch to the evening. Not to mention, our server, Jenna, was an absolute gem. I highly recommend dining at Kaow Thai. And I can't wait to...

Food: 4, 5 ish, Americanized. Large portions. I think after 2 times here, over time they will make it Native Thai , (hot), for me. Service 2: I find this difficult how to rate for service; first time here with Jenna (rated a 6 customer service)carry out. 6/10 waiting for carry out at lunch very Nice, chatty, she asked and found out I love very native spicy foods and added all the small condiments including the fish sauce to our carryout.Today, it was beneficial i meant Jenna.
Today, 6/11 had to wait 15 minutes and go look for a Server in their establishment; Aurora (Service 0). She looked pissed I had to go and find her. Left over 20 % tip, (for CarryOut). No Nothing In The Bag except our Food?! Not 1 napkin, Not 1 fork, Not 1 spoon, NOT ANY CONDIMENTS! If Aurora is your Server, Leave Immediately. If Jenna is you're Server, you will have a good experience. Atmosphere 4: Had carryout my 2 times, establishment looks very clean. Based on Aurora, a Server (0), the Establishment is reduced to a 3 rating Overall.
Today 6/27 lunchtime. I had hopes of updating my Reviews to more positive for Kaow Thai for Carryout ;that didn't happen. Perhaps a sign I hadn't noticed, though I think new, paraphrased; " You have to ask ; for napkins, forks, sauces". Again left a 20% for Carryout. I DID ask for Fish Sauce, Hot Pepper Sauce, Napkins and Forks. IN my Carryout, received 2 napkins, 2 forks, 1 Fish Sauce no hot sauce. Just my thoughts; if your business receives 20% tip for Carryout would you not want to encourage them to come back? Kaow Thai, you will never have to worry about me asking for a "napkin" or any condiments, which most all other Establishments provide without asking, especially with their "generous"customers? You WIN Kaow Thai. I don't ever want to cost you a penny more for Basic Service and will never be back. So many better Establishments...
Read moreI have to say their service is pretty fast and good. I have only ordered to go.
I have tried the majority of restaurants in this area and Hollywood/Pax... Which I recommend if you get a chance to go to these areas. Thai Inter Food it is amazing and also Tearrific Tea behind them.
Anyway this Kao Thai is clean and the staff are nice. However, they couldn't Veganise their Pad Thai... which means their sauce it is premade... sad sad. I ordered the first time Pad Nor Mai with Tofu and it was very good but expensive for lunch time. The amount of food compared to other restaurants, was small for paying 13.00. I gave it another try and ordered their Drunken noodle, which in some places they do a combination of rice and noodles with vegetables. However, here you have to choose one. The food was great and the noodles are squares and big... I was disappointed with the amount of Tofu they put on the order, not many. I am Vegan so I ask for no fish sauce or egg... for anything if I order.
The place it's closed to my job so it is easy to get some Thai when I want to. I also think their Lunch menu is pricey and they doesn't include other items on it, which are easy to prepared. I advised them to expand their Vegetarian and add Vegan as well and to add more items to their lunch menu. I have eaten twice this week there. I recommend it definitely but know...
