Visited here Th. Dec 29 2022 in the evening via the Laporte location. First time eating at this establishment in general, appearances gave it a nice Italian style restaurant. We ordered two sodas, French fries with cheese, pasta, and a large pizza with everything; we were told after five mins that the fries no longer come with cheese and that they would have to be out in fresh also, we confirmed we still wanted them. 40 mins later and we received the pasta 🍝 and pizza 🍕 and was told the fries would be ready soon. So the very first bite the pasta was super cold , and the sauce tasted acidic to the point I felt like it burnt my taste buds. We simply set it aside without touching it after the first bite. The French fries came out at this time and what honestly was odd is that I kept being told about the wait so they would be cooked fresh, and when I received them they were cold and way undercooked, like as if they were attempted to be cooked in a microwave (only an example) so I set them aside as well. What’s sad is we’re both polite people and my gf even more so, I will usually not say anything but when the majority of everything is ice cold and I’m waiting extra for it on top of it, it rightfully upsets me. However the pizza was good, it was missing some toppings but overall very good. I understand all places have their nights per se, but I feel these situations were easily avoidable and being a first time customer I would most definitely not consider coming back , we used our one date night per week here :( ….prior to paying our ticket the person next to us sent their food back as well I didn’t overheat the reason but what shocked me the most was whom appeared the be the chef, walked out of the kitchen and was discussing the matter with the individuals and he was wearing sandals , no gloves, and a good six day beard with no guard, for me such things as cleanliness and safety in terms of food being prepared to correct temps is paramount and in that regard my experience here was far from ideal, unfortunately would not recommend this place to anyone , gave 2/5 simply hoping my message helps change things...
Read moreI used to go here all the time, and always loved it. Never again. Daughter ordered a burger, it has no catsup on half of it. My Italian beef? Nothing like it used to be, and was $18 for something we fed to our chickens. Used to be actual beef, now it looks like the Papa charlies you buy at walmart, and was super bland. A bit high priced, considering your online menu price said around $14. And ordered peppercinis, which we didn't receive. My husband ordered 3 tacos, supposed to be $2.50 each online, came to $12.50. Another bit of a price difference. $2.50x3=7.50. I get tax, buy a $5 price difference? After asking for a receipt at the window, they gave us the wrong receipt. Had to go in, bc I couldn't honestly believe how much our oder was for the little amount of food we ordered! Super disappointed Albanos, no win on this time. We haven't been here in months, and can't say we will be back. UPDATE YOUR ONLINE MENU SO CUSTOMERS KNOW AND UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR...
Read moreAtmosphere was wonderful , service was empecable, cooks need to be mindful of the food they. Our order of chicken wings were still cold in the middle. Now if they did not spot 2 orders total on ticket just own up to it and tell waitress so she can inform the customers.their order will be out soon. Instead , the cook rushed the 2nd order of wings so it looked good to managers and waitress' . The result of action:the 2nd order was still cold in the middle.,thus causing one person's. Dinner was held up. From30 years of training in restaurants of several levels, the cook and the wait person should not serve anything they would not eat or Serve to their family. I hope this is accepted as it was meant. We are all human just own up to your errrors,not try to cover the error up with another one. The order was made up and we did enjoy our visit.
