Grandma's - breakfast and Tacos — Restaurant in La Porte

We came back after not going here for awhile during the big egg cost issue, for take out. The last time I was here...I got the grandmas special #2 it came with 3 eggs, hashbrowns two bacon and 2 sausage with a choice of toast or French toast, I got the regular toast at that time...this time I was now given only 2 eggs, NO hashbrowns 2 sausage and 2 bacon and I chose French toast because now there is no option. So they took away hashbrowns and another egg, originally you got 4 eggs before the cost of eggs went up. My husband got an omlette made with 3 eggs according to their menu...why is he given 3 and you took away one of mine...one can think that you gave me less, to give to his omlettw, to save yourself money...the strawberry crepes had hardly no cream cheese in them, you couldn't 't even taste it. The strawberries were cut up so tiny that they used maybe 2 berries for the whole 3 crepes. The hamburger was OK... and the birria grilled cheese, there was hardly any meat on it, mostly bread with 9 French fries....9 FRENCH FRIES!! The prices are crazy for the small amount...over 60.00 with an 8.00 tip! It was take out, nobody served us. I used to love this place but the massive greed is ridiculous. This restaurant changes things so often that you don't know what you are going to get anymore. We won't be coming back again, you ruined the breakfast that I used to love. All you had to do was raise the prices WITHOUT TAKING AWAY THE AMOUNT OF FOOD AND THE AMOUNT OF EGGS...So now you charge more for less, instead of more for the same....that's just greed. By the way, THE COST OF EGGS HAS COME DOWN...DO YOUR PRICES NOW REFLECT THAT? No, they don't. I would have gladly paid 13.00 to have kept the ORIGINAL breakfast, grandmas special #2....I shouldn't...

Went there last Sunday with my family, and it was great. However, today they forgot something which was no big deal except when my mother went to pick it up for me the manager denied claiming it would be ready when she got there and got rude with my mother. Then after waiting for the hashbrowns that were supposed to be ready, the hashbrowns weren’t done all the way & didn’t taste good at all. I had gotten the same side order last weekend and it was great, however, these weren’t cooked all the way. I get a call about the service issues and the girl acts as if she is going to write my name down for something (I’m thinking a refund for the hashbrowns which would be great as I threw them away anyway) and then the manager ends up on the phone and was kind of weird just saying sorry about the issues earlier, & that the other girl was just relaying the message. She didn’t take my name down like the original girl was trying to. Honestly between the last 2 visits I’ve spent $100 & tipped even for the pickup order, but I will not...

I was in there this morning and ordered a ham and cheese omelette with a side of Pancakes and hash browns. I'm eating my omelette and I thought I swallowed something that wasn't omelette. A few bites later I see a piece of plastic from the little butter containers in my food. I had not gotten to my pancake yet and have not opened any of the butter yet. I told my waitress about it and I got my ticket to pay at the register. The lady at the register said there was nothing they can do and that I would still have to pay full price. We discussed that for a bit and she wouldn't even compromise on half of the price. I pulled out my phone and started to record and did a recap with the lady at the register. While my phone was recording. I asked the lady again if I was expected to pay full price for a meal that had plastic in it. She told me I can leave and she will pay for my breakfast. I found what looked to be like a black fish aquarium Rock in my food one other time. That's the last time I will be...
