Kat's Kitchen — Restaurant in La Porte

My daughter and I absolutely love this place! We wanted to try it for a while and I'm so glad we did. Their soul food is so delicious I want to keep coming back so I can try everything they make! Ive had there beef ribs and rice with red beans and rice, collard greens (which btw where the best I've ever had) and corn bread! They loaded up our plate and we at it all! I also just tried their gumbo and I will say I HATE gumbo but they have now completely changed my mind. This gumbo is so good! They're prices are amazing and they give the best portions! Everyone there is sooo nice and I love that it's a family business! Can't wait to try their ribs next! So glad y'all...

Terrible. I was sitting on the bench in the front and some guy pulls up, jumped out and starts being rude. Told me I had to leave! That I wasn’t allowed to use the bench. La Porte is such a wonderful city with benches lined up along Main Street to rest on our long walks. I’ve been a resident of La Porte for a couple of years and walked Main many times. For leisure and physical therapy and have rested at all the benches♥️‼️ My first experience here...
