I never type reviews about places. I’m not quick to judge, but unimpressed and disappointed is an understatement. I drive up and was greeted per usual but when I asked what drink I should get, I was ignored….didn't bother me much life goes on. But I was greeted at the window barely driving up window still up to someone talking to themselves looking straight ahead then when I got to the window and rolled my window down she was looking away with her device out for the tip sign already. Um very rude I actually had my QR code out to which I waited there when she finally turned and goes “oh I’m scanning” without looking at me the whole interaction. Very offputting, no smiling, if I were to guess she was not having a good day. Then I was handed my drinks and the lid on my mocha frappe was loose I presume on purpose to which I spilled all this sticky chocolatey mess on me and before I could look up, the window was closed and she had walked away, so I drove up, parked my car in the line and went inside to ask for napkins, and if someone could put on the lid, right. The lady who rang up and handed me my order was very rude and offputting. I work customer service myself, and it’s just common sense to at least smile or address and acknowledge a guest to which I was not to the very least requirement. I will no longer be coming here to get my drinks perhaps the Dunkin 3 miles away from me will smile or have a better attitude when addressing a guest that has done nothing to them lol also, if you don’t want to work, customer...
Read moreThe manager one duty Val was absolutely awful. Extremely rude and inconsiderate. When asked about a drink with another lady working (she was nice sounding) Val cut her off and refused to make my order due to policy (which I understand) but whenever asked about when the policy changed because I had gotten this drink made this way for over a year now (at this location included all I wanted was either no ice or very little ice with extra oat milk which I would pay the extra for) I was told “people may do it but I won’t do it because I’m not going to get in trouble for their irresponsibility” I understood and then she continued to say “if you want it that way then you can leave because I WONT do it” again I agreed with her and understood. Just didn’t understand at that point what it was that was against policy and wanted to understand in case it was a health issue they found or something that would mess up my drink. She refused to explain further and just kept telling me she would reject my order. This all happened very quickly and at first tried to laugh it off like ok bad day or what? This is all over some ice and oat milk I was more then willing to pay extra for (which I always do) I also tried to get ahold of the store manager today about the issue and the one time someone answered the phone they said the manger was busy. I ordered through the app: a quad iced espresso, in a tall cup with a splash of half and half and a splash of heavy cream. But the app doesn't print my order to say that. It never prints "tall cup" and always puts 1/2 or 3/4 cream (still confused by that... Is that inches!?! 1/2 a cup?! )
But what I would receive was so random. Sometimes in a grande cup sometimes in a venti. The problem is if you put 4 shots in a venti cup with ice and cream is way too much cream. Same for a grande, too much cream to espresso ratio.
Here's what I learned to finally get the perfect drink:
Order at the drive thu. Pay with the app. The drink is stored now, you can save it to your favorites and magically now when you reorder the saved drink, it prints my drink order sticker perfectly! It says "in a tall cup, 1/4 cream 1/4 half and half and ever since then my drink has been perfect!
