Long John Silver's — Restaurant in La Porte

Big mistake ..

haven’t been to “ long John silver” in 4 + years. Got a hair last time I was there ..

Saw a commercial yesterday for their chicken strip meal ..

I ask my wife today .. would u like a fish meal ???she likes an oil change every once in a while !!

Went there … and tried to order at the drive thru ..

I ordered 3 fish meals and one chicken strip meal .. the chicken was for my animal boys and girls ..

It’s dark outside … not one outside building lite was on at the long John’s .. I thought they were closed !!

At the drive thru ..I placed the order..

I repeated it three times and finally I was told to cum to window to place the order .. because they couldn’t hear ???!??

I Placed my order face to face ..

What did I get .??? Three pieces of fish and two pieces of chicken ..

When the order was handed out the window… I questioned the order in the bag .. to verify ..

When I got home and opened the order… it was 3 pcs of fish and 2 chicken strips .. plus a few fries ..

that’s it ..

For over $31 ….

My wife called to complain …. And the manager said the order was correct ..

Three fish dinners = 3 pcs of fish ….. one pcs for each meal ordered ….

a chicken strip meal… is 2 strips of “tuff” chicken .. per a meal ordered …

On top of that …my wife’s got a hair breaded into her piece of fish … No extra charge …..!!!

How do these rip off joints stay in business. ?? They don’t ….

I’ll never be back !!! Last chance ….

I was the only idiot in the drive thru at dinner...

My family and I will never EVER go here again, and I'll recommend the same for you. We dined in as a family of 4 but ordered separately with 2 meals and even stood back while we ordered our separate meals just so they wouldn't get confused. My dad ordered first and my grandparents and I ordered immediately afterward. My dad received his food and we hadn't received ours. About 5-10 minutes later my grandpa went up to the register and asked where our food was and off the get go the lady was very rude, but still not receiving our food. Another 5-10 minutes later she personally brought us out the extra fish that we ordered and told us that someone must've taken our other box of food by accident, basically implying that she was going to remake our box of food and give it to us. Minutes went by and my grandpa went up there to ask about the other box of food. She was so rude and she claimed we didn't even order two separate meals and we only ordered one, then exclaimed that she put our food in the box my dad received which wasn't the case because if so he would've had 3 extra shrimp, 2 extra fish, and 2 more hush puppies. Then she practically yelled at my grandpa and told him she couldn't give him a refund and he can come back Monday and talk to their general manager because she's "too busy" I wish I would've asked for her name, but at the end of the day we paid 26 dollars...

My husband asked if I wanted to order dinner from Long John Silver’s in La Porte. I was surprised because 3 years ago he found a hair in his meal and has not eaten there since. I like the fish, so I said yes to dinner. He went to pick it up. He pulled up to the drive-in window. There were no lights on but he tried to place his order. They said he needed to pull up to the window to place his order. He ordered 3 Fish meals and one 3 piece chicken meal. When he paid he asked if he was receiving 3 fish and one chicken meals. When he got home, he had 1 fish meal and 1 two piece chicken meal. When I called and spoke to the manager, she seemed in a daze. I was very nice and tried to explain to her that we didn’t receive what we ordered. She hung up on me. When I was eating the batter crumbles, I found a hair. No more. Yeah they lost 2 customers today. You lose your business one...
