The establishment was slightly narrow and long so to me it seemed just a little overcrowded with tables. You seat yourself when you come in also. When we went, it was pretty busy. Only two or three empty tables. We waited and waited for a server to ask us if we had been served and bring us a menu. I had asked for cream soda. I was informed they didn't serve that. I could see it at their pop machine. Others were drinking it. I said fine, I would take the sweet tea she had offered. Again, informed that she made a mistake, they didn't have it. I settled for a small Apple juice. My fiancé and I ordered almost identical meals but they were served completely differently. One came on a plate and was half the size of the other, which was served in a bowl. The veggies weren't consistent in size causing them to be severely under cooked while some of the potatoes were so over cooked it was like eating rocks! There didn't seem to be a lot of order with the servers and their tables either. At one point, we did almost leave. The server was trying to get to the table behind us, but again, the tables were too close. The servers butt touched me twice. She wasn't the problem, it was just being SO close like that was beginning to get ackward. I asked for a box. My fiancé did as well. I'm the only one who got one. We got our bill, which was fairly inexpensive (maybe $25 for two meals, Apple juice, pop, an extra cup of gravy?) And had to wait at the register (along with about 4 other people) for someone to come up front to finally cash us out. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. Aside from the delicious biscuits (which are GREAT!), I feel like the food was mediocre and inconsistent. Service was just okay and the atmosphere to me, wasn't extremely welcoming for new people. I do, however, wish the owners the best of luck with their new business! They seem to have a "regular"...

Came in with the family for Sunday Breakfast. Place was full with a “seat yourself” sign at the entrance. Only tables available were a 6-top and two 2-tops. We asked a server if we could push the two 2-tops together to leave the 6 top open for another group if needed. Server said “absolutely”. We sat and barely started looking at menus before Teresa (owner) confronted us, forcing us to move because moving the tables together was “not allowed and that the server was new and doesn’t know”. It was not done in a professional manner and was so forceful that the entire restaurant had turned to look. She then turned and publicly berated the server for allowing this to happen. We honestly didn’t mind moving but the whole scene was embarrassing to us and our server. Had she politely addressed the issue we would have happily changed locations. Or had they had someone seating customers it also would not have been an issue. We were then witness to Teresa chewing out several other staff members (including our server again) throughout our meal for miscellaneous miss-steps. Her tone and technique of public scorn instead of coaching/teaching her staff (old and new) made me uneasy. Two stars because honestly the food was pretty good and our server did her best to make it a more pleasant experience for us. I write this review if only to let the owner know that her technique of making a public spectacle of her customers and staff is an absolute turn off and will have me thinking twice...

This isn't just a food review, which the food is always made with love 😋 and tastes like home cooked food 🤤😋☺️ (I might be biased, a little...)

This is a review to let everyone know how awesome Mama T is!

I've worked many places (as well as overseas), and this is the most "home" feeling workplace I've ever been at. She will bend over to try and help you, If she is able to and If you have effectively communicated your needs to her. She doesn't ask for much at all as a Boss. Arrive for your shift, come to work on time, do your work right and honestly, ask questions, and don't argue when given direction or instruction. (Not much to ask from an Owner and Boss, I'd say.)

I've worked with and for T for almost 10 years on and off as I go back to teaching in between, and she's always welcomed me back with open arms. No questions asked...

Here's to a great Team at Mama T's! Thank you to all who give us feedback in person 🙏 😊 so we can correct things immediately and give you a better experience and...

Very cute family diner. Lots of breakfast options. Out party of three was seated immediately. The service was great. Our group ordered the Mexican omlet and the meat lovers mess. The Mexican omlet was pretty good. There were some jalapeño stems that somehow made it into the mix. I was really dissipointed with the hash browns and the toast (especially since these are breakfast staples!). The hash browns were really undercooked, soggy with oil, and barely warm. It seems like they spent minimal time on the griddle. The toast was black on one side (pictured). The toast and Hash browns were much better in the meat lovers mash. Dissipointed that they weren't the same for the Mexican omlet.

I ordered the honey chicken sandwich. Great presentation but that is where it stops. The chicken breast was really small covered about half the bun. The first bite of this sandwich was fine. The next bite was a piece of chewy rubbery mess just like the remainder of the chicken. I didn't eat the rest of the sandwich. I paid for my food which was a waste of my money. The lady asked me how was the sandwich. I was honest and told her that it was just a mess. I told her the chicken was chewy. She just stood there with a blank look on her face. . So I know which place I won't return to when I come work in the area again.

Wife and I ate breakfast here while traveling through on a motorbike trip. It’s a “seat yourself” place although there’s no sign that tells you this nor did any of the kids looking at us from the back of the bar tell us while we stood there looking around. My wife asked loudly if we should seat ourselves and they said “yes”. We had half order of biscuits and gravy, potatoes, two eggs, couple pancakes and a waffle with strawberries. Food was great. Coffee was typical diner coffee. Service was excellent. 10/10 recommend just be sure to walk in and seat yourself!
